Cute House on the Cape

We were on a family trip to the Cape and this fit the bill for what we needed during the stay. Close to downtown area and to where the rest of our family was staying. Enough bedrooms for the family (my husband, me, and two kids), some amenities (fire pit, ping pong table, yard to play in). My only complaint was the musty smell of the house - we bought some air freshener and that seemed to help some.

Cute house, very old

This is a decent house for a family of four. The home is VERY clean, even though it’s old. However, while it is “updated,” there is still a distinct “old” smell, possibly of old smoke and just general age. The house is on a quiet street, however, the neighborhood/subdivison itself is actually near commercial and industrial areas - so, it’s not in or walkable to picturesque Cape areas. The local airport is right down the street, so it’s easy to hear the planes take off and land. The Cape is expensive, so the lower-than-average price reflected the area, but be aware that while you could technically walk in to downtown, it would be along a main thoroughfare. The listing states beach chairs, and we never could access them in a locked shed and no key. Overall, a comfortable stay, but driving is required to exit the less-than-picturesque subdivision and the old smell was noticable.

Hyannis MA stay

Overall really great stay. Would be nice to have beach parking pass so not paying $25/day to ho to beach.
