A Special End to a Great Vacation

What a wonderful setting and unique place to stay. Villa Saladini is a 500 year old home just a few miles outside Florence and it has all the charm and interest you would expect. The appartments are carved out of the newestpart of the house and are modern yet filled with antiques. The rest of the house, of which we got a wonderful tour from Perla, is fascinating. The 3 kitchens, dating from the original one to the one created 200 years ago, are especially interesting. The site is convenient to the bus to Florence (we don't rent cars anymore, much easier) and close enough to the town of Impruneta to walk in. Perla and Marco were wonderful hosts. They offer a great deal more than the usual VRBO site and they were very attentive to our needs. We highly recommend this site.

Villa Saladini ...the jewel in the crown!

I stayed at Villa Saladini for a month. I was met at the airport by Marco, who soon transported me to this 'magical' place. Perla met me in my apartment with a very warm welcome, and lots of information in leaflets and booklets, and for me, most important, bus timetables! My apartment was very comfortable and well equipt, with a very big, ultra- comfortable bed which I found very difficult to leave in the morning! Villa Saladini, with its beautiful surrounds, is very peaceful, where I enjoyed walking and relaxing, and looking at the wonderful views of the Chianti hills from the olive groves. The bus for Florence stops almost outside the entrance gates to the grounds of the Villa, and the lovely town of Impruneta is just a very pleasant walk of 1km. I was very sad to leave Villa Saladini, Perla and Marco are very special friends now, and I look forward to returning in the very near future.

Très belle location au caractère authentique des vieilles propriétés dans un cadre reposant au coeur des oliviers. Loin de l'agitation de Florence et à la fois proche grâce à l'accès facilité par le bus. Très bon accueil des propriétaires à l'écoute des besoins de leurs hôtes. A recommander!

A very comfortable and impressive appartment

A very comfortable and impressive appartment in a beautiful and enchanting villa. The setting in which you can feel like in a real Tuscan 'azienda'. A very convenient and cheap means of transport to Medici Firenze - we recommend by bus. In the nearby surroundings there are numerous terra cotta, wine and olive oil manufacturers, in the town you can find many places to enjoy your evening dinner. A very interesting basilica of Santa Maria dell'Impruneta. A friendly, competent and speaking perfect English owner. Perla can treat you with a traditional Tuscan dinner - it's very delicious and a real 'feast'. The appartment is highly recommended. Thank you

"The great antique house in an amazing place. Just 20 minutes from Florence. Very quiet an peaceful Imprunetta also worth exploring. An appartment is very nice. Clean, with all necessary stuff in it. Marco and Perla are charming people. We enjoyed every day of being there. Thank You."
