「The location was perfect. Everything was very walkable and safe. The only negative was the hot water was not steady in the showers (we stayed in the villa). Also, the beautiful church on the same block rang every 15 minutes which was a little annoying at times. But sitting out on the balcony in the evenings with a glass of wine on this beautiful side street was a highlight. The villa is adjacent to the mayor's residence so security was always present. 「The apartment was very clean and looked just like the pictures! Loved the view of the water from the wrap around balcony. We never felt unsafe walking to restaurants in the evening. Supermercado Rey was a 3 to 4 minute walk away. We have stayed in Casco Viejo several times. Many places are loud due to rooftop bars playing music until 3 am. This apartment was extremely quiet! Would definitely stay here again!」
