「We stayed at the Wheatsheaf to be within 10 mins drive of the RSPB Leighton Moss reserve. The room was quirky, bare floorboards and steps up to the bed because it's quite high off the floor! The food was excellent and not expensive and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.. Very happy to recommend this place and we'll definitely be staying again. 」

"Pls beware of check in time. It’s only till 10:30pm. I arrived just a few minutes after 10:30pm as there was heavy rain in pitch dark roads and I couldn’t drive fast enough, the reception was closed and all lights turned off in the common area. Luckily, they put the emergency number there, I called and they sent someone to give us the room keys in a few minutes. Other than that, the services of the staff are friendly and I enjoyed my stay there. Parking right at the hotel front is also convenient. "
