Absolutely fabulous location, amazing view of beautiful loch Ruthven and lots of wildlife. Great place for exploring the local area, great walks and fabulous driving experiences if you take the roads over the mountains.Comfortable beds and lovely bedrooms.Lovely lounge with stove, very cosy, gorgeous view although some supportive seating would be helpful in the lounge. Bathroom small but good. Kitchen could do with a refresh.We had a great holiday even though the weather was cold for the beginning of September.

If you're looking for an incredible stay off the beaten track, this is the one.

If you're looking for an incredible stay off the beaten track, this is the one. My partner and I spent a week here and it was the most relaxing holiday we've had in a long time. The kitchen was super well equipped, the beds were incredibly comfy, and the house was always warm and cosy. Louise was also a wonderful and helpful host! It is quite far from any amenities really (the closest pub being 6 miles away and the nearest shop probably around 2 miles away) but we wouldn't have it any other way because we had the benefit of being out in nature. We saw loads of wildlife and the stars were gorgeous. You basically have the entirety of Loch Ruthven to yourself and there's a gorgeous beach for wild swimming down the RSPB trail at the base of the hill. The Stac Gorm hike nearby is short but has fantastic views on a clear day as well. Would recommend this for anyone looking to get away!

Views,hills,lochs,quiet,sheep,trees on rocks. Narrow roads with yellow shrubs,Inverness nearby.

House is warm,cozy,well supplied. Living room with stunning view and fire place. Kitchen with oven,microwave, coffee machine,more than enough pots,pans,utensils and silverware. Made cycle trips. The scenery,the work out (hills!),quiet roads - want to do it again! Went to Inverness- nice! Saw Fort George - good history and, again, amazing views. Road trip Loch Ness - do it counter clockwise. Again: beautiful views. Monster of Loch Ness: overrated marketing.

So stellt man sich die Highlands vor. Toller Blick auf den See, super Ausblick auf die Umgebung und Kühe vor dem Haus. Ansprechpartnerin kümmerte sich um unsere Anliegen. Recht altes Kochgeschirr, das vielleicht mal ausgetauscht werden sollte.
