“SW Wisconsin is so beautiful that if it was near Paris it would be world-famous. But if you want to make a multi-day walking trip there it is hard to find places to stay that are spaced through the region. This spot in Blanchardville made a perfect stop. The room was comfortable, quiet, spacious, and perfectly clean. And the town, though small, has good restaurants, bars, and coffee places, a grocery store, and a great spot to soak tired feet in the Pecatonica River. Ray, the host, was……

“The property was comfortable and decorated cute. It was even decorated for Christmas! It was a very cute town and we enjoyed the games and fireplace in the evening. It was pet friendly and we enjoyed time with our doodle. The host answered questions promptly and we really enjoyed our time.”

“Great location while I took a 3-day art/printmaking workshop at Shake Rag Alley Art Center. Lovely living room above High Street, plus an enclosed back porch with an electric heater for colder days. Comfy bed(s) and spacious kitchen with coffeemaker and coffee, plus an electric kettle & tea (my preference.) I didn't cook, but the kitchen is ready for those who wish to do so. ”
