“My room was clean and comfortable, though it could use a little updating in terms of the colors and the carpet. It was fine for my one-night stay. I did sleep very well. The staff was excellent. So very friendly, helpful and attentive! They had a really good breakfast, which I enjoyed. I would definitely stay there again because it has an airplane in the front yard! Very nostalgic! That makes it easy to find! The staff there is its best asset!”

“The restaurant there should be family style and open early.”

“Beautiful and pleasant environment, friendly staff, comfortable beds, delicious breakfast, but the bathroom has a strong smell of ammonia, which is very disappointing, everything else is good”

“Good”

“This is a Super 8 hotel. There was nothing objectionable, but nothing outstanding. We booked last minute and the price was reasonable. No in-room coffee.”

“The staff was nice and the hotel was clean.”

“GOOD”

“Very eclectic place stay! Cool decor and nice amenities. We wished we could’ve been there when the speakeasy was open. Nice location between Madison and Wright’s Taliesin. Owners were very communicative and easy to work with.”

“The location was great(a few miles from the American Players Theater and the Taliessen Estate tour(recommended), the bathrooms were new, the beds were okay, but there are a couple complaints - #1) Spring Green charges a 3% fee when you book using a debit or credit card). To me this is the cost of doing business and I hate surprises after the fact. #2) There was no hook for my wife to hang her towel when in the shower area, #3) The breakfast was fairly typical, but I prefer a stronger coffee and……

“It is decent and near a cute, historic town.”

“The first room I had, the TV just kept buffering and the shower didn’t work. They moved me to another room. The TV worked, but only half the buttons on the remote worked. Couldn’t adjust the volume or turn it off, with the remote. The shower didn’t work, but the towels were like drying yourself off with sandpaper.”

“If you are looking for a peaceful getaway in very clean accommodations, this is a great place for you. If you want to relax, it's nice a quiet with a view of the river or if you want to be more active, it's one hour from Madison and 15 minutes for walking trails and kayaks. You can walk 5 minutes to grab something easy to eat or run to the gas station for small stuff. The cabin felt like it was brand new, and we would definitely recommend this place to others.”

“Very pleased with my stay. Room was clean and nice. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The parking garage entrance is difficult to navigate with a truck. The pool was out of commission. Not enough of an issue to reduce my rating.”

“The house was perfectly fine. I just didn't realize the amount of stairs and that they were kind of steep. Some thing I would pay more attention to in the future as I look at rentals. I would recommend Coopers house for younger families.”

“This house was perfect for 5 adults to stay for the evening. We enjoyed the short walk to see the Wisconsin River.”

“The owner was super friendly. But the room smelled quite musky and the AC was changed (turned warmer) while we were out of the room as well as the garbage being cleaned out without us approving for serviceOverall the stay was fine, bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean. Loved the mid century modern look. ”
