"Amazing staff, amenities, and food"

"Beautiful place in the mountains, lovely staff, really recommend it!"

"Good mid-tier ryokan to stay at! We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and size of our room. Shuttle was available from train station to and from the property depending on time."

"Location is isolated but good views; the property provided transportation to the station where plenty of buses to travel around the city. Onsen was great amenity."

"Our favorite place to stay in Japan!"

"The staff here were so friendly and helpful. They really made you feel welcomed and helped you settle in. The property is beautiful, a classic traditional Japanese style ryokan and they provide slippers and robes as well. It was a very enjoyable stay for us. Even given the 15-20minute walk from the train station, you’re surrounded by beautiful nature and architecture, so it doesn’t feel very far at all. Our room had a private onsen which was fantastic, definitely a highlight! We recommend...

"Very nice hotel and onsen"

"The room was clean, and onsen was great! The dinner and breakfast were both served in-room with traditional Japanese style. We arrived early and didn't get to use the pick-up service, but it was easy enough to just take the cable car to Souzan and walk to the hotel."

"The property was very clean and staff were very helpful guiding you to exactly what you need."

"Relaxing and beautiful 😍 Food was incredible, service top tier"

"The hotel is fine but the air conditioning at public area absolutely poor, when we went out from the room, we just like go outside the hotel, you can feel it hot like sunshine. The hotel should upgrade the system. "

"The traditional style of the building made for a very cool stay, the room was nice and felt spacious and the beds were comfortable to sleep on as well. I also loved the plants and neighborhood that surrounded the ryokan too. All made for a very comforting stay."
