Isla Mujeres Beach Hotel

"Room was clean, we love the location of this hotel, and a great pool. Only recommendation would be to provide blankets in each room, instead of just a sheet and light bedspread. And everyone loves Romi, at the pool bar. We also really enjoyed our massages by the pool bar, thanks to Elio and the massage team. This was our 6th stay at Posada Del Mar. "

"The staff here is very great and super friendly!!! Room service was always quick, if you need anything but have to stepping out they would leave it at the front desk for you to pick it up when you got back, food was great! I will definitely be coming back to this resort 10/10!"

"We loved our stay here - it was so relaxing and the perfect place for couples to enjoy. The resort was beautiful and everything was very clean - we loved our room. Only thing is we were supposed to have an ocean view but mostly were facing the water park next to the property. The food was great - the beach/pool menu was our favorite as well as Seasalt the rooftop restaurant. We would recommend grabbing a drink at Seasalt before dinner to enjoy the views and watchthe sunset. The infinity pool next to Seasalt is also gorgeous. Overall, we loved our trip and enjoyed the customer service. During our stay, there were a few hiccups, such as not being able to order room service during the day (no one answered, and it is supposed to be 24/7), but we were able to get through and order other mornings. It also seems like at times they are short staffed - there was one morning we went to Boga for breakfast right and they said the wait for an indoor or outdoor table was very long. We ended up just seating ourselves and going to the buffet and taco station. These were all minor and otherwise we felt like the service was great. Would recommend this hotel for a relaxing romantic getaway!"

"For being the oldest resort and surviving 2 major hurricanes Mia Reef is still a beautiful and well maintained resort. I’ve read reviews that complained about the rooms being out of date, the room was beautiful and clean and we weren’t there for the room. If I had a complaint about the room it would be the bed, small for a queen and rather hard, but we slept so….Couldn’t even tell you if the tv worked lol. We came for the atmosphere and the beach and the ocean and those did not disappoint. The staff was always friendly and welcoming and helpful. We ate at the buffet for several meals and the food was always good, maybe not always “Hot” but never cold ! We have already decided that we will go back and probably try out the villas next time, but we will definitely be going back. "

"You can’t put a price on location and the incredible view from your balcony! You are walking distance to Hidalgo and all of the down town bars and restaurants. You also have a great deal on the beach if Playa Norte during the day with beach service for cocktails and delicious food. The room is basic. There is no room safe, hair dryer or iron. They do have a Kuerig and a small refrigerator. The water pressure is nothing to write home about but the water was hot and did the job. They gave us two clean towels and swept and made our bed daily. They also gave us mini shampoo, conditioner and soap. I usually buy shampoo on the island or bring my own. We had a wonderful stay. We will definitely return!"
