Creagach Cottage - perfect retreat

Our family of four stayed at Creagach Cottage for a week in April and it was a superb experience. The weather was perfect and the quality of the cottage and its excellent location made this one of our most memorable holidays. Creagach cottage has every amenity required and is tastefully furnished to a very high standard. The views from the lounge and dining room windows across Loch Snizort to Uig were stunning, made all the more inspiring with sea eagles occasionally soaring overhead. At night, the stars were equally awesome. The location of the cottage provides a balance of seclusion and accessibility to the Island’s attractions; we visited many of these, however, we always looked forward to coming back to the cottage to relax. Thanks to Donnie for the excellent hospitality. We hope to return before too long! Date of stay April 2019

A cosy and well equipped cottage amidst impressive scenery: It's the perfect place to relax.

We had a great time at the Creagach Cottage. We thouroughly enjoyed the generous and full equipped kitchen as well as the beautiful sea views. The generous welcome pack was a real delight especially the yummy tablets. Unfortunately the Internet access didn't work due to a technical incident with the satellite. But Donnie was very helpful with tips where to get a sim card. Really good communication and hospitality.

Rreal quality holiday accommodation.

Creagach Cottage is quality accommodation from the very well equipped kitchen-dinner with stunning views across Loch Snizort, to the spacious bedrooms,luxury bathroom and large cumfatable lounge. The cottage is within easy reach of some very good resteraunts at Stein and Colbost, also nearby Dunvagen has a selection of shops and places to eat. All in all we had lovely week in a lovely cottage in a lovely area of The Isle of Skye and will defiantly be returning.

Wunderschön gelegenes, perfekt und liebevoll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus - ein Haus zum Wohlfühlen!

Wir haben eine sehr erholsame und entspannende Woche in dem schön gelegenen Ferienhaus verbracht, die Lage ist top - sehr ruhig und idyllisch, mit Blick auf das Meer und die vorgelagerten Inseln. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll, gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet, es fehlt wirklich an nichts. Zur Begrüßung stand als liebe Geste ein Welcome-Korb mit kulinarischen Spezialitäten aus Skye auf dem Tisch. Das Ferienhaus liegt auf der Waternish-Halbinsel und wir haben von hier aus Ausflüge und Wanderungen zum Neist-Point, zum Coral-Beach, zur Trotternish-Halbinsel, nach Dunvegan und zum Waternish-Point unternommen. Unser Highlight war die Wanderung zum Waternish-Point, weil wir von dort aus Seeotter, Baßtölpel und Seehunde beobachten konnten. Wir können das Ferienhaus absolut empfehlen und werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Gislinde und Rainer

Fantastic

Very comfortable accommodation for two couples, with fantastic views from the windows. A bit isolated for visiting the rest of the Isle ( ie means driving ) but well worth it for the peace and quiet of the surroundings.
