「We’ve had five nights in this cottage. We where surprised about the landscape driving towards the cottage; lakes, hills and sea. We saw sheep cows and deer. The cottage was a perfect gift to explore the Isle if Sky. Wood for the fireplace, wine on the table and fresh made cake. We where a bit early but very welcomed by Dorothy and Andy. 「We had a lovely stay at Knoydart Cottage, the cottage itself is very homely and the view is spectacular. The kids had a ball exploring the garden, although we encountered a few ticks, so do keep an eye out. The convenience of the Duisdale Hotel literally being next door was great for the nights we couldn't be bothered cooking dinner. A beautiful part of Skye, Armadale Castle down the road is also a must see, fabulous play area for the kids. Highly recommend 👌」

「We loved our stay and would absolutely recommend Princes Point Villa! The location is perfect for an Isle of Skye road trip. 「Our stay at Tides was very relaxing. Uig is not far from other towns but felt like we were secluded enough from the busier locations. We loved it! My niece and I loved sitting by the big windows, looking for Seals. Being that it was October, we didn’t spot many from the living room but we saw one. One evening we walked to a cute nearby hotel and had a few apéritifs. We would definitely go back if we were ever in Isle of Sky again!」

Being at the end of the earth with the wind and the sea, farms and cows to the side- it was just such a beautiful experience that words can't express it. We spent part of the time out exploring the hikes and Portree and part of the time just staying in playing board games and enjoying the house. We would love to return should we visit Scotland again.」

「Our fourth stay here and we just love it. The scenery and tranquility is fantastic. The house itself offers everything we could need and the local pub is so close. We did some paddle boarding this year which was new to some of us. Apart from that we did some walking, geo-cashing -again, new for some of us - and general lazing about.
