「we were in a small cabin with a small desk (no chairs), two single beds and a bunker bed, and a bathroom with shower. it is clean. the camp is close to a major highway, thus a bit noisy. there is a small supermarket and a restaurant with reasonable prices. it is a nice place if you want to save money. we had a bad experience on the day we left the city. it was raining in the morning when we were leaving the camp. we asked the hotel staff to call a taxi for us to Mestre train station which...

「The apartment is spacious and comfortable. It’s very far from the main area of Venice about a 25 minute walk but the neighborhood is lovely. The only negatives were rhe king bed is just two twins beds together in a frame and not very comfortable and the toilet seat was broken. Expect to go to a local market for paper goods etc but it is very close and easily accessible.」

「The good stuff… The housekeeper is very friendly and located close by. Check in was easy and the walk is straightforward from the train station. There is a grocery store just down the road as well. Restaurants line the walk to the location. The bad… The temperature is great with the windows open. The mosquitos love it. They invaded with a hateful vengeance. We lost two people the first night, leaving a third in critical condition. Come morning we bought arms and launched a full counter attack....
