Club Quarters Hotel in San Francisco

10/10 Excellent

"The Club Quarter was fantastic! Reasonable price for the area, and in fact, significantly less expensive than the other options. Great location, and parking garage is across the street ($37 per day). The rooms were clean with very nice bedding. Every staff member we encountered were very professional and extremely helpful. I would definitely stay there again."

"Bed was a bit hard. We got an “upgrade “ to our room. But it was just an average room. Comfortable but not worth the extra cost. Breakfast was good but the coffee was terrible. Couldn’t drink it. I’m not sure what I was thinking but I then ordered a cappuccino. Not much better. The staff was very nice. Bar staff very friendly."

"Nickeled and Dimed, but still a good time! The hotel is gorgeous and the location is perfect. The "urban fee" is a ridiculous way to make you overspend - just charge me $10 more dollars at the top and don't make me 'figure out hot how to utilize the $10 minibar credit that I am getting charged $10 a day for.' I recommend it for the luxury and the staff, but will try another resort next trip."

"Great location! Walking distance to ferry building, and Cable Car station. Easy to request a Waymo. The most con for us is there is only one location of elevators, and the rooms are like a circle around it. It will take forever to walk to your room if you stay the other side of the elevator"

Chancellor Hotel on Union Square

"Room was clean and comfortable. You can open the window and use the fan provided, which kept the room at a comfortable temperature. Liquid soap and lotion were provided, as was shampoo and conditioner. The staff were very friendly and greeted guests with a helpful attitude. The Chancellor is right in the middle of everything, with shopping areas nearby and a cable car stop right across the street. There is a bar in the lobby should you wish for a drink. Also complimentary coffee and cookies, and a cold water dispenser. A nice restaurant, Sears Fine Food, is right next door and you can get breakfast, lunch, and dinner there. If you choose to use public transportation, the Chancellor is down the street from the bus stop on Stockton and Sutter, and the Muni stop on Powell St."
