Spring Break getaway

We enjoyed our stay for a little family/grandparent getaway for spring break. Perfect location, quiet beach, and the kids woke up each morning excited to walk out the back door to play in the sand. Host was responsive, knowledgeable about the area, and we would stay here again!

Great time

Stephen is a great host. We really enjoyed our stay in his home. Everything we needed was there for us to use. Very cozy house and the beach in the back yard was amazing!! We will be staying again for sure.

It truly was "a breath of fresh air"!

The property was perfect for us. We literally just walked down the steps and were on the beach. The location was very convenient to restaurants , shopping and grocery stores. The host was very responsive and helpful and also provided great restaurants to visit. We enjoyed the time at this property and plan to stay again!

Amazing location

The house location is wonderful, such a nice beach. The house itself could use some TLC, the master bed ceiling paint was cracked and coming down, several broken shades and trim pieces. Not at all a bad place, just needs some updating along with the photos on the listing. The owner communicated just enough and overall, the stay was great.

Direct Ocean Access

We picked this property because you can walk right off deck directly to beach which was about 150 yards. Incredibly close. We saw dolfins and found about 50 shark teeth on beach. Great restaurants, shops and park that are close. Host was very responsive to questions we had.

just a wonderful experience with plenty of breaths of fresh air

we really enjoyed our stay at "breath of fresh air" location was perfect., walking right off your deck to the beach was fabulous, we have stayed at many different places and getting to the beach from the house was the best so far...i would prefer to have a bedroom off of the living room on this setup because stairs were a little too much for us elders. overall i have no complaints at all we had beautiful weather the week we were there couldn't ask for anything better than that...this is the kind of place i would want to buy for myself...thank you for a wonderful vacation.

Perfect refresher

This house was the perfect place to spend our 2 weeks at the most beautiful beach on the east coast. We love Topsail for so many reasons and the location of this house was great for anyone who wants to just get away and forget the real world for awhile.

Peaceful getaway!

Lovely views, just a few steps down the deck and on to the sandy beach! We went just before high season and it was perfection! Our host, Steve, was over the top helpful with the most spot on recommendations of places to visit for us. Will definitely return again!

My family loved our week here. The house was very clean and in a great location. Steve was quick with communication, suggestions, and answering my questions both leading up to the trip and during our stay. If we ever come back to Topsail Island, we would definitely stay here again.

Amazing beach location

The location can’t be beat, and Steve is an amazing host. Only steps away from the beach and with 2 nice patios overlooking the ocean. Would definitely stay here again (this is our 2nd stay with this host, but last time we were on the other side of this same property.) Highly recommend!

April Getaway

This was a very nice home and just what we needed and expected. We were a little disappointed no dolphins showed up for us to see but the ocean was beautiful. Being so close and watching the high and low tides was great. I would definitely recommend and hope to return in the future.

Wonderful vacation home

I've have stayed at this property many times. Great location, views are wonderful. The county did a great job replenishing the beach. Steve is always very prompt answering any questions or taking care of any problems you may have. Great family spot. If you want a quiet family/dog friendly beach vacation this place is it!

Amazing beach house

We had a great time at ‘Breath of Fresh Air. The house was extremely clean, kitchen was well stocked and the views of the beach are breathtaking. Every bedroom has a view and the balcony outside the master bedroom overlooking the beach is beautiful. We enjoyed seeing sunrises every day from our room. Overall, our family enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.
