We had a great time at a condo right on the beach. We were close to the condo’s pool as well. The view was great! We really enjoyed the balcony. My family had a great time!

Amazing stay!

My now husband and a I rented this amazing, gorgeous condo for our stay in Amelia for our wedding in August 2016. The owners are magnificent and the condo was nothing but perfect from the fun classy beach decor to the stunning beach view! I loved being able to lay in bed open the curtains and see the ocean simply breathtaking. Everything we needed for the beach and for the week was provided they had every accessory or gadget you would need esp in the kitchen!! We got married on the beach there and stayed for a few days after and it was an amazing trip! We will definitely be back to stay at this condo!! Loved every minute of it!

Great location and good stay!

The view is amazing! We woke up to the sunrise every morning which was awesome. The proximity to the beach was the next advantage! Grocery stores and couple of good restaurants near by. A short drive to Fernandina beach for some fancy eateries. The furniture was outdated and worn out, dusty too. The mattress was springy and uncomfortable. Kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed the keurig . We will definitely stay here if the furniture is updated.

great location!

I have already reviewed it but haven't heard back from you, so I don't know if you received it. We loved the location but had a long list of problems with the condo. There were no sharp knives, so we bought a few. The light over the stove was out and I called about it but no help. So my spouse borrowed a screwdriver and purchased a light that we installed. The dishwasher had a few problems: The soap dispenser is broken. The 3 washing machine pods were too little for 2 weeks at the beach, etc. I can't remember everything. Please let me know if you receive this! Thanks!

Wonderful escape

We are local to the area and needed a run away. We chose this condo based on its beautiful views and ease of access to the beach. The condo was lovely and we really enjoyed the complex. We did have one major issue that was never taken care of. Upon arrival we noticed the refrigerator not quite cool enough. I figured it was just due to being cleaned and would be fine by the morning. By the next morning it was warm and I had to begin cooking some of my 4 full days worth of groceries to prevent it all from spoiling. Additionally at this point the freezer was cycling through defrost and over freezing. We contacted the management and were told we would receive a return call in an hour. After over an hour with no response we reached back out. The communication through text was responsive. We were assured on Saturday morning that a repair man was in route and to enjoy our day. I requested a cooler and ice to preserve our groceries until the repair could be taken care of. 2 coolers and 2 bags of ice were delivered within the hour. Unfortunately that was the last we heard from the maintenance company. My husband had to go out and buy ice to keep the coolers filled and we never heard back from the company. No one checked in. No one repaired the fridge. While we made the best of our beautiful weekend this was absolutely not how we expected it to go with such a beautiful condo and a great reviews. Hopefully the next guests get better care and don’t have to supply their own ice next to a warm fridge. We would absolutely return to this condo again with the promise of working appliances.

Nice condo in a great location

We stayed in this condo a year ago and are happy to report some improvements have been made. Those improvements include a new mattress, new couch and loveseat, and 2 bag chairs (not beach chairs but still better than nothing). The balcony is uniquely positioned in a southerly way to get sun all day. Wifi was completely reliable for working remotely including Zoom meetings and streaming videos. Amelia Surf & Racquet Club is a well-maintained, quiet property with a nice pool area and great access to and views of the coast. There are still a few easy ways that this condo could be made better but all in all we enjoyed our time here.

Beautiful ocean view

This one bedroom condo is adequate and comfortable for two people. It had everything we needed for our three night mini vacay. The sunrise view from the balcony was perfect. In the description it says there are no beach chairs so we brought our own but there were a few chairs in the closet.

Absolutely wonderful first time experiance

This was our first time using Vrbo. The property was exactly as listed. It had everything we wanted and expected. The king-size bed was very very comfortable and the sofa bed was too. We thoroughly enjoyed time sitting on the balcony. Everything in the kitchen worked properly. The only thing it did not have that I wish it would have is beach chairs and an umbrella. We had to go buy our own while we were there. We had traveled to Florida via airplane so we had no way to bring things back with us so we gave them to another family at the end of the week. We would definitely stay here again.

So-so unit in an otherwise great location. View partially obscured, which is not apparent from the listing. Decor is very dated. Wear and tear is showing. Minimal supplies. Dead batteries in TV remote. Very noisy washer, dryer and HVAC. On the plus side, comfortable bed and very clean overall.

Nice place for a couple.

Very nice, comfortable condo with a beautiful view. Perfect for a couple. Nicely decorated but wish there weren’t so many objects (birds) taking up tables and windowsill space. We had to put all of the birds on the floor to open and close the blinds.

Great spot

It's the little things that make a rental that much nicer. Plenty of parking, starter supplies, power strip in the bedroom for all those electronics we "have to have". The condo was clean, the location was great. The weather did not cooperate, so we did not get to enjoy the beach, but noticed there were chairs provided. We will stay again.
