(+): Excellent staff; clean scented rooms; clean grounds; very good breakfast buffet; efficient and helpful staff in maintenance and at front desk. I asked for a tour of the property, so i can recommend the property, and i got a very nice tour. (-): The property is ok. I have been in two rooms and they were scented with a different fragrance in each room. I didn't reserve a fragrant room. Its not healthy for me to sleep 8 hrs inhaling anything other than oxygen. In about 15 minutes my nose become desensitized to the fragrance and only when you go outside and return do you realize that the scent is still there. This olfactory fatigue is a no no for me, not to mention that when i got home, my clothes was infused with that fragrance. .. I tried the restaurant's bar and ordered 'jerk chicken bowl' and 'grilled seabass'. I got a tea cup size of rice and twelve popcorn size pieces of plain chicken...not jerk chicken. The price point is 31.50 naf. The grilled sea bass dish was a tea cup of rice, tea cup of greens, and small pieces of a white fish covered with a white sauce. The fish wasn't grilled. The price point 42 naf. See image of receipt above. The price points for both items didn't match the portions, quality or taste. This is unacceptable. The hotel needs more labeling on the buildings or the cobblestone. I was lost three times finding my way back to block 7...and i wasn't the only one. Its an excellent place, for folks 25 to 45 years old..its an active space, IMHO.

Room was outdated and not as clean as it should’ve been. There are no elevators so we were going up and down 3-4 flights of stairs daily and with luggage. A staff member did help to bring bags up upon arriving. Other than that, our stay was fantastic!! Nice staff. Beautiful salt water pool with plenty of lounge seating. Several restaurants, shops and casino a few steps away! Super convenient and lively without being noisy. After 10pm things really settled down in the area. Great experience. Would highly recommend

We had a great stay! The rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of options, and the beach club was definitely a highlight. The only thing that could be improved was the check-in process, which was a bit slow and not very organized. But overall, the hotel is great, and we would definitely stay here again!

I arrived September 17 stayed 8 nights nice receptionist very informative and easy to check in , property beach front access with a private pool also the one day before I left I noticed a little hidden beach access by the private pool , also nice ocean beach pool with a great bar and beach club they do nice drinks and spectacular sunsets , also there is a small supermarket just beside the hotel premises where I could get and adapter for my iPhone since it’s only European connections in the room plus they have a variety of drinks fruits snacks etc, hotel has its own restaurant papagayo beach club breakfast were great dinner only once was average , also they are several restaurants among of them I tried Zanzibar was ok , tintos was good also there is a shopping plaza where there was a great smoothie and snacks shop also saw a casino but did not go and a bar where they play music on Thursdays nights tried to go Friday but was closed also several restaurants near by of course you gotta drive among of them brisa do mar which was excellent if you into seafood , now about my room I just choose a patio view but upon arriving no privacy saw cars parked in front of my room never used the patio anyways but room is too dark one of the lights above the bed was out I called in said someone will check never got them fixed while over there , sometimes I felt a drop of water on my face was from the ac unit not great , the cleaning average they can do better

The property itself is beautiful with well-kept grounds, a great saltwater pool, and stunning ocean views. Parking was free and convenient, and the nearby plaza and grocery store were helpful. Unfortunately, the rooms were poorly lit, bathrooms showed discoloration and weren’t properly cleaned, and service was inconsistent at best. I often felt like I had to plead for solutions and was even debated with over issues that should have been resolved quickly. While a few staff members (Mark, Nedra, and Minako) were wonderful, overall hospitality felt uneven, and as a Black American traveler, I noticed others received better treatment. The final disappointment was having to drag my own bags down nearly five flights of stairs at check-out because no bellman was available. Beautiful views, but not an experience I’d return to or recommend.

Property grounds were ok but sand around rooms could have been cleaned, there were a lot of birds and iguanas looking for shade right in front of the rooms, the bed was motel vibes , hard with cheap bedding, if you sat a drink down and walked away , you would return to find it covered with little ants , there are no elevators for beachfront rooms which are more like beach view , so you will have to drag luggage up or down, staff aren’t the friendliest , food is mid mostly , it’s boring , no real entertainment on the resort, I wouldn’t recommend this for American POC, I was charged 6 dollars at the end for 3 local calls , you have to go back up the hill for ice, they require you to ask for a gym pass daily at the front desk, beach towels are initially left at your room, but since I switched rooms I had to go back to reception for beach towels, a lot of work while on vacation , the locals said this resort doesn’t have the best reputation and I should’ve tried the Marriott 😞

My son and I stayed for about 6 days. We had a blast! The room was as portrayed on the website with a balcony that was larger than we expected. The sea view was amazing. The garden well kept and immaculate. Breakfast exceeded our expectations. And every single member of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We have been on the island a number of times and this was the best experience we’ve had so far. (Plse do something about the pigeons during breakfast though)

My stay at this hotel was great overall. The environment and landscaping was nothing but scenic. Great photo opportunities. The staff were super friendly and accommodating even with the slight language barrier. However, almost everyone understood me fairly easily. The food was also great with an extensive breakfast. My one complaint would be the cleanliness of the sofa could have been better. It was actually pretty, visibly dirty in our room. The room also had a somewhat “bland”, dull smell. Like there was no smell at all, no fresh, inviting smell. I can’t explain it more than that. We requested some sort of air freshener which was handled by housekeeping shortly after. Nevertheless, I enjoyed my stay at the hotel and will return!!
