「The room was clean and nicely decorated, close to the beach and restaurants, the staff is welcoming and friendly」

「York , Maine is lovely. Our room at he STAGE NECK INN did not have hot water in our shower and there was nothing bathtub as pictured.When we told the front desk we were told they were aware and there was nothing they could do until after our stay was over. They said they could not upgrade our room because we booked through Expedia. The view of York Beach was lovely from our Balcony. The Spa is closed on Monday and Tuesday, our stay was Sunday- Tuesday. I am very disappointed with the management...

「The bar outside still closed from last years stay as it was this past weekend :( There was no hair blower in our room 109 but there was one in my sons room, 310. The breakfast area was nice and coffee too. Friendly reception and good welcoming from the desk employees. The place needs more parking area for people coming back from a later diner time around 8:30 pm.」

「Clean place! Pools and location were great. Room was nice but in my opinion a full size bed is too small for 2 adults.」

「The AC worked great! The bed and pillows not so great. There was trash in the hallway when we got there and the same trash was still there in the morning when we left.」

「Bathrooms were dirty in the corners and walls. Room ac was good but halls and lobby were very hot. Pool had a mildew smell. Check out was 11 am but staff tried to enter a little after 8 am even with a do not disturb sign on the door.」

「From start to finish nothing but the most excellent experience! Welcomed by the nicest folks at the front desk you could hope to meet The manager Andy was top notch as well ! The room was something you could only dream about .! The view from the balcony was second to none If you want a so, so hotel don’t stay at the Nevada as this hotel is nothing but stellar in all realms ! It was so impressive I booked a year in advance !!!!」

「This is a lovely place. The rooms were clean and the decor was thoughtfully chosen — not overbearing or kitschy. The kitchenette had all the necessary dishes, utensils and pots. The small grounds were nice and conducive to ready. The location was great. Very close to downtown Portsmouth and the price was reasonable, especially when compared with those just a couple of miles away in Portsmouth.」
