Fantastic funky yet modern Florida house

We loved staying in this house. It was so old Florida, and yet had pretty much every modern convenience you would want. Beautiful back and front yards, with gorgeous gardens. The owners were extremely helpful -- cable wasn't working when we arrived, we called, they got it fixed within hours. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Shabby and unkempt . Previous renters trash had been gone into by racoons . Glass fell out of a door and shattered at my wifes' feet. exterior paint needs redoing . Hinges on door are reversed allowing for easy security breach Rusty shower rods Smoking sparking electrical switch . Romex wiring on outside of wall ,swag lamp wire held up with grocery bag wire . Rusting (something to outside shower at foot level. Really filthy garbage containers .Touchup paint shows all over. Doors are full of hand prints( I washed some) Filthy cabinet tops .Peeling paint all over the exterior carport is absolutely filthy around trash cans Outside laundry room is a shambles. No pride of ownership anywhere I took photos of everything.

Cozy Cottage Near Everything

This great cottage is within a few minutes drive of multiple beaches, riverfronts, restaurants, and shopping. A nice children's museum, park, beach, and a long pier are within a 6-minute drive. Our group of four adults and two kids (ages 6 and 4) were very comfortable in the house. There was even enough space and chairs to host a small gathering (about 15 adults) of my extended family for dessert and drinks. The secluded outdoor shower was great for me and the kids to clean off after a day at the beach without bringing sand in the house. Take the owner's advice and go to the Dolphin Bar and Restaurant (great food, great view, and a place where kids can feed birds and fish).
