"Excellent service and very helpful,friendly staff - nothing was too much for them. From check in to check out, our custom felt valued and appreciated. Breakfast was an enjoyable relaxing experience with above average quality produce. Rooms were scrupulously clean and we were lucky to have a sea view. Altogether a very enjoyable experience. "I cannot fault anything with the hotel. Staff were very pleasant, helpful and polite. Special mention to Hope at reception who was excellent helping me when I needed help to re-print my boarding pass. The garden area was beautiful, plenty of seating and areas for children to play games, pool areas were very clean. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. The only thing that could be improved, there was only entertainment on Friday night (we only stayed Thursday to Sunday)."

"Very well maintained hotel, met at the foyer for our bags, and helped with bags to the room, after an easy check in. Large room, with a separate bathroom, and all very clean. Exceptional beach viewing location, central to the bay. Staff all very helpful in all areas of the hotel. Clean indoor pool and Spa, with gym. Changing rooms clean and tidy. Dining was taken with the beach view, in a very smart dining room, or glazed terrace. Breakfast was very good, with a great wide ranging choice, of traditional or continental. We could not fault the hotel at all. We shall return !"

"We booked this hotel because it was close to town and had free car charging. I emailed the hotel to check on the charging 3 days before we arrived and was told it was a first come first served basis. After arriving and plugging my car in the next morning, it was only then that I found out the 3 charging points had not been working for 3 weeks and would likely remain so. They were still happy to charge me £5.50 a day for parking. On the last night at the hotel we. Hose to eat at the hotel and the food was very nice albeit the Sea Bass I had chosen was very small which was also disappointing. The prawn portion that came as an Accompaniment with the sea Bass was larger. Two mouthfuls and the sea bass was gone so just filled up on the potato and vegetables. On a positive note, very good staff and breakfast. We had room 41 which was in a good part of the hotel and not noisy."

"The hotel lived up to its 5 star billing. The staff throughout the hotel were all courteous and very helpful. The breakfast experience was great and we also dined there on 2 of the 3 evenings. Food across the board was very good and great care was taken in preparing it. We loved our stay at the Grand. A great location . We also really appreciate the upgrade surprise we got when we arrived - thank you."

"Excellent location, walking distance to all main attractions in St Helier and yet quiet Room clean and bed was comfortable; good shower pressure and lovely Elemis toiletries Breakfast well organised and plenty of choice Air conditioning was a bonus in the warm weather we were there. "I have stayed here a few times over the years and, while it has always felt somewhat dated, the location has always been ideal for visiting family. During my most recent stay, parts of the hotel appeared to be undergoing refurbishment, which I hoped would improve the overall experience. Unfortunately, the stay was disappointing. The check-in staff were rude and unhelpful, which did not create a welcoming first impression. Although the bedroom itself was reasonably clean, the bathroom was in a very poor condition — old, dirty, and clearly in need of renovation. The shower barely worked and was little more than a drip. There were also no signs advising guests not to drink the tap water. In desperation I did drink it, and unfortunately I was unwell throughout the night afterwards. No bottled water was provided in the room either, just a basic kettle and a few sachets of coffee. It is such a lovely location, which makes the lack of cleanliness and overall upkeep even more disappointing. I was not expecting luxury — simply somewhere clean and comfortable to sleep and freshen up — but sadly this stay fell far below even those basic expectations. Regrettably, I would not choose to stay here again."

"Everything was excellent, the hotel it’s self was very modern clean and tidy, it’s in a good distance from st Helier and the park and rose garden just at the end of the road are very good. Went to a lovely free concert in the park one evening and had a excellent meal in the park restaurant"
