“The beach is absolutely beautiful! The swimming pools are very nice. The grounds are very well maintained although there are areas that need to have outdoor lighting restored rather than abandonning the fixtures. Areas around the ground floor patios need refreshing. The staff is very friendly however service is slow. The resort is older but in general it is in reasonable repair. The rooms all need to be remodeled. There is no microwave, mini-refrigerator or in-room coffee. Overall our stay at……

“large rooms light and airy (upstairs , downstairs seemed like they may be a little dark and there would be people walking past all the time) steps to upper floor slippy in the tropical weather so be aware if this is a thing for you. all staff, like everywhere in Antigua very friendly and helpful (one minor exception - housekeeping on day of departure a little rude / brusk). quite location , except gardening noise most days (they have to be maintained) walking distance to restaurants but……

“I enjoyed my stay at Ellen Bay Inn. The staff were great and very accommodating. Feels like a family atmosphere. I think the only disadvantage (or could be an advantage in some cases) is it feels a bit “of the beaten path.” It would be challenging to get around with wheels but the staff offered me fairly priced transportation when I didn’t have a rental. Stingray city is within walking distance so that’s an option too. ”
