“This has been my second time staying at Sun Valley Motel. The owners take great pride in keeping their property well-maintained and clean. They are also friendly and helpful with any requests. The rooms are nice, comfortable, and clean, with modern furnishings in the bathrooms. I stayed in June, and though I did not use the pool, another family seemed to really enjoy it. It is also right in the middle of town and close to everything. I highly recommend staying here.”

“This is the pefect place to stay regardless of if you're passing through a there for a few days, can't go wrong. Every year I do a bike race in Castell but stay in Mason. This year we decided to go last minute and snagged a great deal on a stellar property that's so well done. The host and the prooerty I can't say enough about, just awesome!! Will plan the next visit for when we can use the start gazing tubs next to the fire pit, on this beautiful and eclectic property. DONT MISS OUT!! Dean”

“Location was great, right on the town square. Didn’t take any pictures of the place. We were only in town for one night. Very clean. Memory foam beds. An odd smell upon entering the room, likely the type of room spray used to keep things fresh. After about a minute the nose acclimated and it was no issue. “My friend and I went on a beer, wine and distillery tasting tour from Texas Wine Tours where we were picked up & dropped off at the home in Harper which was only a 25 minute drive from Fredericksburg. We enjoyed the quietness and the Longhorn Cafe was within walking distance from the home. The home was really cozy, we enjoyed all the photos of the family's history and sitting out on the screened porch at night. I would go back because of it's proximity to Fredericksburg and it's not as busy.”
