On a small ship cruise out of Juneau we encountered fantastic views like this waterfall on a regular basis. The ship was only 3 decks above the waterline so eye level views were the norm.
I would recommend a small ship cruise like we took in Alaska. Our cabin door opened on to the outside deck. The deck railing was 15-20 feet above the water. We woke up one morning and stepped on to deck to the view of this iceberg. #OnTheRoad

Our cabin door let us out directly onto the second deck with the rail only feet away. One morning we opened the door to this view. The Captain had parked the ship off this glacier while we slept. Boy, what a site to wake up to.

We had an amazing opportunity to see this whale breach 3 different times!! It was so incredible and I'm grateful my husband was able to get a bunch of great pictures. Once in a lifetime experience!
