「It is in a good location, with parking. Good breakfast. The staff was prompt to help. Rooms were of a good size with a balcony. we were in lower level only a partial view due to the buildings at front. 」

「The Residence Stine - this one was difficult to judge. Yes it ticks all the boxes but it’s not a hotel per se - it’s a large house converted into a 9 room bed & breakfast. So lacks the full hotel services. HOWEVER, the hotel is located in a residential area 200m-300m up quite a steep incline on a narrow cobbled street. Elderly & infirm - BEWARE! Cars can’t come anywhere near the property so you are on your own dragging your suitcase(s) up & down so bear this in mind. However, having said...

「We had a wonderful stay! A perfect, “off the strip” property that gave us everything we needed! Comfortable bed & pillows, great size of room, entry & bathroom. Location was what amazed us. Being just a blocks away from the Riva and the view of the Marina was perfect!」

「Room was nice and clean….many places to eat, bakeries and a grocery store in the corner. It was near the main square. A personal welcome from the host was a great touch, we did not have to struggle with a lock box like most apartments.」

They proactively gave us travel advice to reach Split, and to ensure we could find the hotel in the Old City area, a porter with a golf cart was sent to the ferry pier to meet us . When we left, a porter led to the Uber spot. Everything seamless. The hotel itself is pretty, clean, safe and convenient.」

「I travel a lot and this was as good as it gets. We had to actually leave the lousy, dangerous apartment we were at in Dubrovnik and getting here was a treat. The staff took care of the luggage, the breakfast was great as was the dinners we had there. The staff was smart, spoke great english and thoughtful. Also they had blankets as well as duvets - and the air conditioning worked well. The location was right on the edge of old town - we park in a lot about 150 yards away and just "rolled"...
