“Had the pleasure of meeting andrew the owner at check in. He was super friendly and gave a detailed tour of the property. The cabin is very private and surrounded by lush vegetation. The open air concept keeps the place cool and makes you feel like you are in the midst of nature. The netting keeps bugs out and lets you enjoy the sounds of the forest at night. Internet worked perfect and i was able to take some work calls while i was there. Highly recommend booking here if you are looking to……

“While we spent most of our visit out and about hiking, sightseeing, and swimming, this cabin was a great place to have a few meals and lie our heads between exploring the big island. The bed was super comfortable and the bedroom and patio were really nice. The kitchen was well stocked for those looking to cook. However, there were a few cleanliness issues: the previous guests did not throughly clean the dishes, which attracted bugs, there was mold in the fridge, and there was a slight musty……

“This property is magical. We loved every minute we spent here. The outdoor shower was so refreshing with nature all around. Listening to the rain on the lanai was the highlight of my morning. Not to mention getting to pet rescue dogs and peak at rescue bunnies. I honestly wished I booked this place for at least a week instead of going back to Oahu. Will Def be back:)”

“Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros: Beautiful quiet secluded location. Clean. Comfortable bed. We had everything we needed. In a nice location and we felt safe. Very close to Volcanoes National Park Cons: Very sheer curtains and no blinds on windows. I realize the windows……

“Communication was amazing from the beginning and our place was exactly as described. The highlights included being near to some amazing local restaurants, and using the snorkel gear that was provided to snorkel at Captain Cook after a great hike.”

“Host did an excellent job, especially Chevie. So helpful and kind.”

“We absolutely loved our stay here. It’s peaceful, private, and truly feels like an off‑grid escape in the best way. The natural‑resource power setup worked beautifully — the A/C kept the space cool, and the hot water in the shower was perfect every time. One big tip for future guests: follow the host’s directions exactly. Do NOT rely on GPS the way we did on our first drive in. The road the host recommends is paved and easy. The parallel road the GPS tried to send us down was not paved and made……

“Overall this was a good place to stay for our intended plans. The management company was very communicative leading up to the trip and during our stay when anything was needed. The house was very clean, the environment peaceful, and had great proximity to the beaches and volcano. The only points to note are although this is listed as housing for 3-4 people, it's really best suited for two. Mostly because the kitchen isn't stocked for 3 people's worth of dishes (example: there are exactly 2……

“So much to see in this area. The cabin is modern, peaceful, and very nice. The owners are on property up the hill but you would never know it. They did a great job making the cabin an awesome experience.”
