「We enjoyed this unique property, especially the deck in the morning and evening. The stray cats were sweet and my daughter really liked having them around. Only issue was with the showers. The outdoor closed in shower was very hot and unable to change the temp; the indoor shower was chilly and the other outdoor shower ‘one with nature’ was just right. Other than that, the property was as described.」

「Keaau is south of Hilo and very convenient to Volcano National Park. Home has lots of amenities to provide a comfortable stay. There is a large TV but operating instructions were very complex and we did not attempt to view. Overall I would recommend this rental.」

「Nous sommes demeurés dans la maison du 21 au 28 juillet 2023. Maison située à environ 30 minutes de Hilo et environ 1h45 de la côte Ouest (Costco). Secteur très tranquille. Aucune plage proche. Maison propre. Le seul petit problème c'est la toilette dans une des chambres n'a pas de ventilation et ça sens mauvais après 2 jours. Pas de BBQ au gaz, seulement un tout petit BBQ au charbons dont la grille est très sale. Lors de notre séjours, il pleuvait à tous les jours, seulement dans le secteur....

「From the first day we booked to the day that we left, we received almost immediate responses to every question we asked. As usual, there were a couple of arrival difficulties, but the host quickly took care of those. The house is beautiful. We were able to walk to the point and watch the waves and even some whales. They also made great suggestions about restaurants and supermarkets in the area.」

「Location and ocean view was FANTASTIC. While it's not a 5-star/ $1000 per night hotel, it has everything you would need/ expect from an excellent beach house. We were only a group of 2, but the house easily could accommodate 6 people. Great jumping off point to see sites on this side of the island (Hilo, Volcano, towns that existed a few years ago but then were taken by lava). Don't miss Uncle Robert's on Wednesday night with other locals. It was a great time. Also, the Lava Flow museum in Pahoa...

「This was the perfect house for us. We especially loved the separate bedroom for our son to stay in. It was a fully stocked kitchen and a nice grill so we cooked in every night. The hot tub was great too! Mindi and John are wonderful hosts with top notch communication. The location was perfect for exploring the National Park and surrounding areas. The pictures just don't do this place justice, it's way cooler!」

「We could not have been more pleased. Our early birds enjoyed sitting on the lanai in the mornings drinking coffee and listening to the light sprinkle in the trees, while watching the local "wildlife" in the yard.
