A really bright, modern self contained apartment in central Kendal. Brilliantly located for all of Kendal's wonderful amenities including The Brewery Arts Centre and Kendal Mountain Festival.
- We are situated on the edge of the Lake District national park. Straight out from the apartment there are fantastic walks and runs up onto Cunswick and Scout scars, both with fantastic views of the Lakeland fells. Please ask for information on brilliant local swim spots.
The space
A one bedroom self contained apartment with open plan lounge, kitchen and dining space. The kitchen is fully equipped, complete with washing machine and eco laundry liquid for you to use. There is a separate double bedroom with bedside shelves, lamps and a wall rail.
The lounge sofa converts into a bed should two guests prefer separate rooms. The compact bathroom has a shower, hand basin and toilet, also a mirror and socket for toothbrushes or shavers. Hot water is constant and the underfloor heating is pre-set to keep the space at a comfortable ambient temperature in the cooler months.
There is a parking permit hanging just inside the door should guests want to park locally for free.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire apartment through a private entrance with secure key box.
Other things to note
The apartment occupies the lower ground floor of our family home. We endeavour to keep noise to a minimum and hope our guests will do the same, within reason of course. The head height in the apartment is around two metres, slightly less under the kitchen beam. The sink is positioned in a nook in the corner of the kitchen, the standing space here is quite cosy, around 40cm/15" between sink and wall. The door at the end of the hall leads upstairs and is private.
