“Good One”

“Golf was the saving grace of the stay. Even though we could only play the back nine due to flooding. The restaurant service was very slow and multiple orders were wrong. The food tasted good, it just took forever to get to the table.”

“Great hotel right in the middle of town.”

“The initial room had a problem with the air conditioner and the staff moved us to new room immediately. It took less than 5 minutes to resolve it. Great response on staff's part.”

“Hotel smelled terrible. The 2nd floor hall AC smelled like an animal had made a nest and died. Thin floors; it was as if we were below a family of elephants. Loud and sustained post-toilet-flushing noises. Ineffective laundry dryer; 3 cycles to dry 1 load. But the pool was nice”

“The management is hard working and I enjoyed the weekend waffle breakfast with fresh fruit and pecans, but I was told they only have breakfast during the weekend. The lobby is cute but the rest of the motel rooms need more updating. I promised I wouldn’t post the photos of repairs needed in our room. This motel allows pets and sadly the carpet in our room smelled like wet dog when we arrived from the previous guests so I had to ask the front desk for air freshener. Also we don’t smoke so it was……

“It’s so beautiful and cozy. The bed and the room is very clean. The location is good and very close to the downtown.”

“The staff was extremely helpful. They even took us for a tour around the property. Laura was very knowledgeable about the history and seasonal details about the hunting and lodging amenities. Property is very well maintained. Food and drinks were great. Would definitely consider returning.”

“Where to begin…..this hotel was just a pleasure for my senses. The building, the staff, check in, the close parking outside a locked gate, my beautiful room, the gardens everywhere, the patios outside each room, the dark wooden bar with the perfect mixologists, and then the restaurant (!!!) everyone was dressed as ladies and gentleman with the perfect demeanor. I’ll be back. I’m in love with this place. Nothing could have made our stay better. I could gush but you’ll just have to try it……
