「We had a wonderful stay for our sons graduation from basic. The location was great, about 20min from the base. The house had charm and lots of room for guest.」

「The Sunrise team is amazing and efficient at getting back to you regarding any questions or concerns. Not only did this apartment have ample space for my husband and I with our 2 boys but it was so cozy it felt just like home. Will definitely stay again when visiting the area.」

「The ONLY bit of an issue was that there is some sort of (what I think may be a backwash cycle with a pump or septic system) noise that comes on next to 2 of the bedrooms. This often happened randomly in the middle of the night and it can be a little loud. If it is indeed a pump, maybe it could be set up and scheduled to come on only during the day. Everything else was very clean, nice, and updated.」

The owner is a great communicator and check in was easy. Loved the welcome sign with my name at check in. I would definitely stay here again should we come back up to Racine in the future!」

「Very comfortable place to stay close to downtown Racine with lots of clubs and also pretty close to Milwaukee. Down the street within walking distance is a zoo and the beach which stretches on for a great distance up and down the shore line. Great place and very comfortable and relaxing!」

「Our visit to Waukegan, IL was to attend my son's navy boot camp graduation. The property was nice and in a quiet neighborhood hood. It is close to the Great Lakes Naval base and the beach. We enjoyed our stay.」

「This sweet little 2 br apt was so convenient to Great Lakes and the surrounding area. Our sailor was able to stay overnight and we were able to have a couple of home-cooked meals together, in addition to having some semblance of civilian life. The owner was incredibly responsive and you can tell they've put a tremendous amount of work into rehabbing the property. We will definitely rent again!」

「My family and I stayed here for my sons Navy Bootcamp graduation. It has 3 rooms. 2 of them have beds. One is a king I believe. The other is a California king, it was sooooo comfortable. The pillows and blankets were like the nice hotels. The other room had bunk beds but it was a full size on the bottom and twin on top. Only reason I’m giving a 4/5 stars is bc that bunk bed was uncomfortable and did t seem safe. The girls only slept there one night.」

「If you’re looking for a quiet apartment in a safe area of Pleasant Prairie…this is it! While the entrance to the stairway leading to the apartment is in the hosts’ home, the apartment is truly separate and private with a full kitchen!」

「Sandy does a nice job of welcoming you, with her friendliness and her creative expression seen in every detail of her home. It was a very comfortable stay in all aspects. My one caution, which she has stated, is it is an upstairs apartment, so it is not handicap accessible in any way.」

「The lake views were beautiful and so nice that it was pet friendly. It was very clean and the decor was top notch. The little extras from the owners were a lovely touch. If you bring pets, be aware there is only a spiral staircase to the lower level and the green space is steeply graded. My pet could not navigate the stairs inside so we had to use the outside stairs which do not have lights for nighttime.」
