A beautiful place. Great staff. Easy to park on the streets nearby. Easily walkable to most places on the island, including Duval st, if you are able and enjoy walking. If not there are copious places to rent golf carts or scooters on the island… The room was quiet, the AC worked amazingly.
The themes were great, the pool very nice. The water & ice machines were very nice to have and the common areas super enjoyable to sit outside.
I’m deducting one star on cleanliness because there was a pair of underwear left in the cupboard from a previous guest. They were black, in a white cabinet - easy to see so my assumption is the cupboard was never opened at all during the cleaning process.
Also - the motion lights outside each room are slightly annoying as there was not a good amount of light-blocking or darkening on the window coverings to begin with and any time someone walks by it turns on a bright light which shines into the room.

Hemmingway Cottage was perfect! I enjoyed the peaceful, quiet grounds and we both enjoyed relaxing in the plunge pool after a day of walking around and activities. The continental style breakfast was convenient and the staff were very helpful. The cottage was clean and you can’t beat the location - we walked everywhere! They even had a water filling station complete with an ice maker! My only feedback was the mattress was very firm - which some prefer but I prefer something softer. My teenage son said the pullout sofa mattress was comfortable. Overall, wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again.

Our room was everything we were looking for in Key West. Clean, comfortable and easy. We found parking right outside and check in and check out was a breeze. Great coffee too. For the price, you can’t beat it if you are looking more for a place just to sleep and get ready for the day!

We stayed in the Hemingway house which is a free standing structure but public walkways are right outside so for privacy, the blinds need to stay shut which makes it dark.We enjoyed the pool. Pool towels were available in the office. There was no place to hang extra wet clothes or towels in the unit so we hung them on the porch railing. Be aware that access to the bathroom is through the bedroom, if anyone is sleeping on the pull out couch. Parking was fine in March-April, we could always find a spot on the street even though the driveway was being repaired. Overall it was quiet & peaceful but guests are in close proximity so we did hear a crying child one night and an alarm/beeping throughout the night another night. They communicated well and facilitated a late check in for us (after 5:30). Overall it was clean, friendly staff, nice ambiance, especially the outdoor courtyards. The walk to Duvall St was a little farther than I would have liked but doable. Breakfast was fine: bagels, danishes, yogurt, cereal, hard boiled eggs, fruit, cheese sticks, apple juice & coffee.

Staff and location is top notch. Property is somewhat dated but bedroom is super clean. Bathroom has mildew b/c of age. Again, staff is stellar.

We stayed in the Poets room, it was very spacious and nicely decorated. Property is clean with nice sitting areas. Pool is small but clean and welcoming. Pleasant surprise was the free breakfast, very nice selection for a continental. The gated property made us feel very safe. I would definitely stay here again!

Great location，walking distance to almost all attractions. The house is nicely maintained. Clean and spacious room with tasteful decorations. I love the small spa pool and the breakfast stuff provided. Convenient and safe road side parking. Helpful and patient staff. Quick checkin.

This guest house is in a great location. Twenty minute walk to most attractions.
Breakfast was adequate for the type of facility. Coffee was very good!
Room was clean. Staff were friendly and responsive. Would go back.
