“I would give 10 stars if possible! We are a family of 6 and had an amazing stay for a week. Starting with things I read other negative reviews about and worried about: Septic- yes. Sometimes you get the faint smell of a septic system. This is absolutely no different than camping, RV'ing or boating. It is not the smell of waste, its just the normal smell of the tank. This is expected in this structure of home. Construction- the nearby construction noise was there but never bothered us and……

“The place is nice, but it's really all about location. We were able to use this as a base of operation to explore all of Old Town easily. It's really about .5 mile or less from most stuff you might want to do. The Hemingway house is just a short walk down the street away. Get tired or want to drop off something? Just pop back in, no trouble. The owners were also very nice and easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay here again the next time I am in Key West! ”

“Great property and location. Close to convenience store - which makes excellent deli sandwiches and coffee. Across the street acoustic guitar and some evenings. A block or two from Duval - yet quiet. Will stay again !!!”

“The house is from 1899??? I believe.. So you can tell that the Azul house is well maintained and the owner keeps the old key west style. Rooms are small but cozy and have what you need... I highly recommend. D.Plez”

“This was a last min. trip / deal. Great spot, just a few blocks from Duval. Grocery store and great breakfast place a few blocks away on Flemming. Sunny Eggs, I ate there 2 mornings in a row. Rent a bike for 10 a day and cruise all over the island. Staff was ready to help with any questions. Clean, cold AC, hot water. Small pool to hang out in away from the noise. I will stay here again!Phil ”
