“Location was great! Rooms were clean and nice. Too many roosters roam the resort and crow at all times (sound machines help drown out the noise at night). Beach area was great. Christopher, the beach attendant who was there the entire weekend we were there, can be overbearing. He can use a seminar on how to be tactful in his tone about the beach chairs. Otherwise, my friends and I had a great time! ”

“what a disappointment to stay in a hotel with such great potential but obvious neglect.
From the cold, unwelcoming staff to the dirty, dated rooms to the old ugly dining areas with big heavy curtains and dark scratched floors-the hotel is clearly mismanaged.
The entire place needs a good scrubbing, fresh coat of paint, and new furniture in the rooms as well as the dining areas! (looks like 1970’s card tables from walmart)

“The pool was ok. Super overcrowded since it was the only pool that <21 years old could go to. They are building a waterpark and removed the other pool in prep for that waterpark. They could do a better job cleaning the pool.
They had two different people playing music at the pool while we were there. We preferred the DJ over Will the guitar guy. DJ played a better variety of music and took requests from the kids/crowd.
Bingo at the pool was a nice touch.

“Would stay at Isla Bella again. Beautiful beach and pool areas and overall property very nice. Loved the balconies facing the water. Water bottles during check in with water refill stations all over the property was a nice touch. Plenty of activities to do with 9 and 13 year old: volleyball, putting green, manatees near the dock, lawn games. Overall a lot of kids and families, but not chaotic. Could get pool/beach chairs anytime of day. Staff friendly. In rooms - beds/linens not as comfortable……
