"From when I arrived amd during my five nights stay, Mark and all his staff treated me with the utmost resepect. All were courteous and professional in all that did. As I had to leave each day before breakfast, Mark made me a packed lunch to take with me. This was in keeping with tje food the restaurant served each night. The menu has a wide range of choices and the portions are quite substantial. They are reasonably priced for the size of each dish. The room was clean, quite large and very fresh and airy. I will definitely be staying again when I am in the area. 5 star treatment from a 5 star team. Well done to Mark and all his staff."

10/10 Excellent
"A lovely cottage, very well presented, very clean and with a nice welcome pack with things such as eggs, bacon, bread, milk. Beds that were very comfortable and although in a village a good pub less than a minutes walk away with good food. Lots of walks and facilitative for children nearby. There is a small garden with plenty of furniture and tables and a well converted annex on the house too.I will say the stairs in the house are quite steep, but my 92-year-old Auntie managed them OK. You do need a car, but I absolutely loved this cottage and will definitely be coming back again.."
"Our first stay in a shepherd's hut and it was absolutely brilliant everything we could ask for and more. The hosts were very helpful and friendly too. Lots of walks and fishing to be done in the area. Would definitely go again."
"Arrived early evening looking forward to having a meal after a long drive to find out that there is no food service for the length of my stay. I feel this should have been made clear at the time of booking.
Although not the Half Moons fault, there was no WiFi available due to a damaged phone line caused by road works. As I was on a business trip this was compulsory as the phone signal in the area is next to null.
The room was comfortable and clean, only complaint with the room is the boiler that is situated in the bathroom continuously switching on and off which was noisy.
