“Quiet neighborhood but not a far drive from anything you’d want to do or see in the city. Good property. Could use a couple finishing touches but overall we were happy with our stay and the property manager. ”

“I have never been as comfortable at a VRBO than we were at Bear’s Rest. We live in North Carolina on a mountain, so we loved and appreciated the cabin feel and decor. Everything was top notch. The location was perfect, close proximity to our family, restaurants, and groceries but quiet and restful. We hope to be able to visit Bear’s Rest again!”

“Loved that each of our 3 kids could sleep in their own room. Perfect distance to all the places we wanted to visit including the zoo and museum center. We found helpful items like a baby gate for the steps and kids plastic dishes in the cabinets. Latoya reached out and was super helpful with food recommendations and clear communication.”

“ House was a wonderful mix of old architecture that has been remodeled. We had planned for seven guests but only two of us end up being able to come. Therefore, we did not use all the rooms and features. House was well stocked with everything you need. Air conditioner was more than adequate. We were impressed that the owners have a radon pump installed so we know they go above and beyond for the health of occupants.
