“Really liked the room and balcony. What I didn't likewas there was no restaurant on property. You can't walk along the beach unless you go down to the landing.
All and all not a bad property and the highlight was the Ama restaurant and I would highly recommend it.”

“We extended our stay by 2 nights and needed a place to stay. The Mermaid worked out fine for us (could use a new mattress) and the view was amazing! The owner was great and very easy to work with and replied to us right away. We did not enjoy the ride to get up there, but we were warned about it in the description. You do need an SUV to travel up there. Thanks for the stay!”

“The property is close to town and has a great view. However, it is in desperate need of a complete remodel. We stayed in an oceanfront king. The bed is actually a queen
The room reeked of cleaning chemicals to the point of making your eyes water. There was barely a trickle of luke warm water in the shower. The cable went out and never came back on, the light on the balcony didn't work, the coffee machine was clogged and blew hot coffee throughout the room, and the hair dryer actually blew up……

“This resort is AWESOME! Staff is super friendly and absolutely stunning views - well maintained - the owner Mrs. Elizabeth’s weekly Nature History Tour was an added bonus. She is very passionate about and very involved here at the Buccaneer Resort . Will for sure be back !”

“Front lobby is gorgeous. Room needs a little tlc. Hair all over the floor when we checked in. Sheets were old and some parts see through from the age. Little stains on the pillows and sheets. Bathroom really small.”
