「The location is excellent. Communication with the host was also great throughout our time there. The stove look liked it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The underneath the toilet was also pretty dirty. Like they forget to clean it after a few others guests. Be prepared for routine power outages on the island for conservation. And rooster are everywhere.」

「Staff was friendly and responsive. Our room was beautiful and well equipped and cleaned daily. The beach was lovely and the cove provided protection against the winds other beaches were facing. The waters were clear, and we saw a lot of sea life just outside our door with goggles! Parking was easy and close to our door.」

「I’ve traveled to various European destinations in Mexico and South America, but I’ve never encountered a five-star hotel with such a poorly maintained system. The patio was littered with discarded boards, and the shower leaked. The housekeeping left dirty towels in the rooms, and there were even dead roaches on the floor. My children had bites on their arms and legs when they woke up in the morning, which I suspect were bed bugs. I called the hotel and notified the front desk as soon as I left...

「The hotel stay was pretty awesome. Taking the ferry back and forth to the main island was fun and very convenient! The guys in the boat shop on the hotel property were my hero’s and so helpful with tour info and any questions we had. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The only thing I could complain about is the hotel is still renovating so there was quite a bit of construction mess and noise but it was not really a bother. The snorkeling around the hotel was fantastic!!!」
