Property was amazing, super clean, staff very friendly. I just didn’t know that the hotel has 3 buildings in 3 streets and we had to walk 1 block to have breakfast at the main building and the parking is another block away. We had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant as well and food was delicious!

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Kinsley. It’s such a unique property and the location is great. My room was very nice, clean, and comfortable, and I loved being able to park the car and walk to dinner and some of the nearby shops. The continental breakfast was a nice bonus. The only thing that was a little confusing was finding the front desk when I first arrived. The check-in address is different from the building it’s attached to, and it wasn’t clearly marked. Once I found it, though, everything was easy from there. Overall, I had a really nice stay and would definitely stay here again.

This hotel has several buildings in the stockade district. The one I stayed at was on Pearl St, which I suspect is their newest acquisition. It has potentential, but I had the feeling it wasn't quite done. I would certainly stay here again, just in a different building.

Booked two rooms well ahead of time based on images and room descriptions. When I arrived, neither room was in the main hotel, but each separately in a different annexes. The only access in and out of the building where the room was located was a vertiginous staircase. No other exit, A real fire trap. The room was spartan. Basic bed with a basic armoire. Nothing more. Had I not raised the question, the hotel would not have even notified me that in their terms, I had been "downgraded". Unacceptable. The post-humous offer to reduce the rate to that applicable to the room I actually got instead of the one I booked was no consolation for a ruined week-end.

The location was a bit tricky. Checkin was on 301 Wall Street but restaurant was that address and Hotel check was around the corner on side street. But then my room was at 24 Fair Street in the back in a different building. But the accomodation was modern, clean, and quiet. My bike was stored right outside my room. Then breakfast was back in the restaurant on 301 Wall St. Delicious dinner there as well. I highly recommend the Grain Bowl with the added Salmon. Huge portion and delicious! Breakfast was also delicious and self serve.

We stayed at the Pearl St address. It’s beautiful and clean. We wished our room had a coffee maker. We are early risers. Coffee was not available downstairs until 7:30. The continental breakfast at the main building was disappointing. (No butter for the toast) We would definitely go back. Kingston is a charming town.

Overall, the stay was fine. A few added amenities would have improved the experience, such as complimentary bottled water and in-room coffee or tea. The breakfast was underwhelming, and parking was located several blocks from the main building, which was a bit inconvenient. Additionally, the hotel is spread across multiple buildings throughout the town, which may not be ideal for all guests.
