Kirby hotels in San Antonio

"My family and I rented a total of 3 rooms for 4 days/nights and I feel like I was catfished. There was hair on one of my beds from someone who was previously in the room. This was obviously a hotel that was poorly updated because our phones, microwaves, refrigerators weren’t working properly. The maintenance man never showed up, hardly anyone spoke English and there was barely anyone ever at the front desk of you needed help. They overcharged me for my stay and now I can’t get through to speak to front desk. Nice area around the hotel, close to stores but you can find an overall better experience close by. "

"I realize this is a historic building but it definitely could be run better. We were not informed that apparently you have to request for your room to be cleaned. I am still not clear about that. Our room was not cleaned so we called downstairs and let them know. We were told they would come clean it while we went to dinner. They did apparently come to the room and put towels and a trash bag of toiletries so we could clean and restock our room on the bed. Did they make the bed? Nope. I really was hoping for a better experience to write about but unfortunately it was not to be. On the up side it is in a great location but there are so many other options. "

"We love historical places and this was great. A ghost tucked the cover over my wife as I did not. The bed was very comfortable."

"Very clean, up to date resort. The amenities are great. We floated the lazy river, played giant chess. The atmosphere is just relaxing. The staff is super, super friendly and helpful. This will be our top pick for vacation spots in San Antonio."
