"Our stay was perfect for visiting York. Just a short drive to the nearest Park and Ride. The B&B was excellent with a beautiful room, super comfy bed and bed linen and in such a peaceful rural location. We had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Catherine, our host was really lovely and welcoming and cooked us a fabulous breakfast. We would highly recommend this to our friends and will definitely be back! "

"The price I paid for booking on Hotels.com was contested by the guest house owner as being in error. After several phone calls, it was determined that this was no fault of my own, but rather a programming glitch. Yet I was made to feel responsible for this: The room I was given was not what I had booked. There was also no safe in the room as indicated on the booking. "stayed here as we were seeing stereophonics at the arena and handy for the tram. dropped the bags in the room and went straight out, got in 2am had breakfast and left. it was clean, breakfast was nice and we slept ok. every staff member was friendly can't say anything bad about the place."

"Great place for a short stay. Clean & good facilities bit of confusion over payment…. Thought paid up front but hotel said not… so this is main reason for 4 not 5. Also close to late night pubs/ clubs…. So if you’re wanting to go to see early… probably not the place for you as the music can be quite loud. However, not an issue for us & slept really well. Ultimately good value for money & would stay again."
