“The room was spotless, you can tell it was recently renovated. The amenities were amazing, the beds were super comfortable and we had one of the best sleeps we’ve ever had at a hotel. “We stayed at the Kings Head last weekend and had a lovely time. The pub itself is gorgeous, decorated beautifully, it is cosy and inviting and located in a lovely spot by the stream.Although the actual car park itself was small this was no problem as we parked literally a couple of minutes away on the lane, perfect as it allowed the opportunity to see a tiny red squirrel busy in a nearby tree. The kitchen area was clean, with lots of quality appliances and kitchen utensils, beds were very comfortable, the showers, bath and toilets were very clean and modern and in good working order.It's in a great location with lovely views and quick access by car or foot to nearby Kirkby Stephen.
