The hotel has clean areas. There was no direct phone in the room to talk to the staff. There is no 24 hour staff either. The rooms have no sound barriers whatsoever. We could easily hear the next room talking past midnight. The windows to the street do not block the street noise. We easily heard the cars driving in the street in the middle of night. .

I chose the twin room, as I was solo. The sleeping area was tiny, but really- how much is needed? 🙂 Decorated very cute and crisp, and the bathroom was huge and updated. The staff was extremely kind and accommodating. On a busy street, but I slept right thru that.

Excellent venue with plenty of off-road parking. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are compact but clean with plenty of clothes storage and have a fridge. There is two microwaves just nearby where the Continental Breakfast is, of which there is a good variety of items. Ideal for pets as there is a rear staircase which leads to the carpark and grassed area. Ideal location for people attending events at the Royal Highland Centre especially the SKC Championship Show or flying from Edinburgh Airport as it only took us 30 minutes to get there. Cannot comment about the restaurant as when we arrived it was closed but we were directed to an excellent Fish and Chip shop just 2 minutes walk away.

Perfect stay for going to ice hockey
Great stay. Was just there for one night for the ice hockey which is a 2 minute walk away. Room was lovely, very clean and nice touch having bottles of water in the fridge. Continental breakfast was great, plenty of choice. Balcony was a great bonus too. Only slight negative is that its quite noisy outside the rooms with other guests walking by so worth talking earplugs.

Der Aufenthalt war sehr schön. Nettes, unkompliziertes Personal, tolles Bad, Restaurant mit leckeren regionalen Gerichten und fairen Preisen. Frühstück (Cerealien, poptarts, milch, käse, orangensaft usw) war Selbstbedienung und stand dauerhaft zur Verfügung. Mikrowelle und Geschirr steht zur freien Verfügung.

The room itself was good and well set-up. Nice little balcony attached to the room. Self serve breakfast bar was well stocked. The bar and hallways were a bit smelly.

We had a great experience at the Elbow Room! Everyone was so helpful! We needed to do a little laundry as we had run out of clean pants for our two year old and they were so accommodating and helpful! Really really appreciate it!! Food in the bar was great. Not to much soundproofing between rooms and to the outside patio so if you are an early sleeper or light sleeper maybe bring some ear plugs.. it didn’t bother us too much though

Klein, aber oho!
Es war einfach super! Sehr gutes Preisleistungsverhältnis. Wir wurden von einer sehr netten, schottischen Frau empfangen. Das Zimmer war sehr klein, aber mit allem Benötigten und die Betten waren bequem. Es war sehr sauber mit einem sehr gut ausgestatteten Badezimmer inkl. einfach zu bedienter Dusche mit genügend Druck. Es hatte genügend Kaffe, Tee inkl. Cookies. Beim Frühstück durften wir uns bedienen und dies aufs Zimmer mitnehmen um dort essen, da das Hotel keinen Speisesaal hat. Es hatte Porridge, Früchte, Saft, Yoghurt, Käse...uvm... Einfaches Ein-Auschecken, grosser Parkplatz hinter dem Hotel vorhanden. Das Internet war leider etwas schwach.
