「Everything is great with the hotel - except - (1) long walk uphill to get back to hotel after a day out, and -
(2) if you are driving, the hotel’s small carpark is at the bottom of the hill, which means you’ll have to walk up that moderately steep slope to get back to hotel….which can be a good daily exercise….」

The hotel is right next to the river & few mins to shopping street, there were many restaurants nearby
Although located at popular area, it is quiet & safe at night
Our room is able to see the kiyomizu-dera
The room is spacious & very clean
We have book two rooms and the hotel arranged adjacent rooms for us, thanks for their arrangement.
