Great hotel overall: very clean, with friendly and attentive staff. The breakfast isn’t very extensive, but it’s more than enough to start the day. What truly makes this place stand out is its location — set on a small street filled with excellent, trendy local restaurants. The area is so popular that you usually need reservations. One of better hotels we experienced on our stay. Comfortable beds, good ac, room enough for Japan. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location very good, short walk to shops and food. Super close to 2 stations. Breakfast, though mostly Japanese, was good. Help yourself buffet. Western options limited but totally fine. Though it good value.

I stayed for a business trip, it was convenient access to public transportation and walkable to Nishiki market and other shopping. The room was clean and well set up. I had the breakfast each morning with enough variety to keep it interesting and tasty. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Kyoto home

All is good for location is perfect, near MRT & Gan market & breakfast is special with matcha smoothie. Only thing is spa place is a bit small. I’ll choose if revisiting.

Great place to stay

It is near to Nikishi market . A lot of restaurant around . Lawson is just opposite of the hotel . Staff very polite and helpful . Toilet is bigger than expected . There is a place to store the luggage which really help us a lot . Only the WiFi is just so-so .

Convenient location, clean and friendly staff. One thing less than ideal is the air conditioning/heat system. It is centrally controlled and when it turns on our room was boiling hot. Only way to cool down is to open the window. Hotel management should review the heat distribution of the system.
