What an awesome experiences in Stitch Hotel. First of all, great location in not only for public transportation, such as JR, local buses, but also walking distance to restaurants, and world tourist attractions in Koyoto. Secondly, we would like to shout out the front receptionists in Stitch Hotel. specially ‘’Thea, Yoshi,and Sumi, you girls are well trained and knowledgeable surroundinggs that gave us all the questions we requested. Once we. questioned which restaurants we wanna go, then all the sudden, they provided at least 5 options, then next night, they all well- prepared another 5 different restaurants in their pocket. I definitely recommend traveler whom should try this newly opened hotel, clean, well communication, and fun place to interact. Thank you so much that we had great time living, grateful appreciated.

The hotel has a very good location, which is close to public transport system, some major tourist attractions, and good restaurants. The hotel staffs are very friendly. Regarding the room, it is spacious and clean. The washing machine in the room is very convenient for family trip.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at STITCH Hotel in Kyoto and I’m so grateful I booked it based on other people’s reviews ~ every single positive comment turned out to be true! The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the Gion district and just steps from the metro, making it incredibly easy to explore the city. As soon as we checked in, we headed out to wander through beautiful Kyoto, and honestly, you don’t even need transportation because everything feels so accessible from here (unless you are going to Kyoto station, and for that we used taxi). The service was exceptional, especially from Thea, who made our stay feel extra welcoming and seamless. The rooms are impressively spacious (a rarity in Japan), with more than enough room for all our suitcases, + a comfortable couch to relax on and kitchenette. The cleanliness was spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. One of the standout features was the shower ~ amazing water pressure, and having a washer / dryer (2 in 1) right in the room was such a huge bonus. The bathroom layout was also fantastic, with a large space, separate toilet, and a separate shower room, all well-designed and soundproofed for total comfort. We also loved the thoughtful and unique housekeeping system: you leave your towels in the bin outside your room by 2 PM, and they return it clean in the same bin ~ no one enters your room while you’re away, which we really appreciated. We absolutely loved Stitch Hotel Kyoto! The location is perfect and conveniently located with Family Mart downstairs, easy for taxi to stop and load/unload luggages. The room is amazing, very nice modern design and comfortable, got everything we need, has 2 bathroom vanity, and both toilet and shower with separate doors with privacy - not to mention the washer/dryer. Staff are friendly and polite. Will definitely stay here again.

The room was spacious and clean, and the location was ideal. The only thing that prevented me from giving five stars is there was no room freshening service (making beds, freshening towels and emptying trash) because we only stayed two nights. For the price, I would have expected some basic housekeeping.

You have to see the room in person. The photos don’t do justice. The location is the best, right at downtown Kyoto. The room is so spacious and large even for 4 adults. Will definitely go back in the future.

I have travelled with my family around the world and this would have to be our favorite Hotel so far. It doesn’t feel like a hotel, but rather an upscale serviced apartment. The room size is big and spacious and the location is absolutely fantastic with restaurants and transportation all around you. The staff are super nice with suggestions for dining, for currency exchange places, transportation advice, so on and so on. After exploring all day, it’s great to come back to the hotel and see a smiling face and super comfortable rooms. There is a washer and dryer in the room and this really helps, especially during the warmer months. We left Kyoto and moved to Osaka and the family are already missing the Hotel and the area. We can’t wait to go back to Stitch Hotel. Thank you so much for taking care of us.

This was the best hotel we stayed at in Japan. It was brand new and the design was so stylish. A boutique, luxury hotel. The room was amazing - spacious, luxurious and airy with great views over Kyoto to the hills. Such a pleasure to relax in and come back to after our days out in Kyoto. The metro and train station was steps away which made it easy to get around and also to leave for Osaka. The main street into downtown Kyoto from Gion was also steps away but because the hotel is on a side street, you don't get the passing traffic - cars or foot traffic. You can step straight out of the hustle into quiet. Pontocho Alley is a stones throw away, we walked to the Nikishi Markets and across into Gion. The kids thought they were royalty staying here and they loved the complimentary drinks in the lobby. They would go down every morning and help themselves to iced cocoas. I would whole-heartedly recommend this hotel to all. Thank you for an amazing stay.

We had an amazing stay at Stitch Hotel in Kyoto! Perfect is the word that comes to mind when I think about this hotel and its staff. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and exactly like the pictures. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the fully equipped kitchen was a wonderful bonus. It truly felt like a home in Kyoto. The location is excellent — with a convenience store next door, plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, attractions within walking distance, and train stations very close. It was the ideal base for exploring the city. A big thank you to the staff! Everyone we met was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect — greeting us with a smile, offering tips, answering questions, and even calling the elevator for us. Truly outstanding service. We also enjoyed the cozy lounge area in the lobby and the free coffee and tea provided — a lovely touch. We highly recommend Stitch Hotel and would definitely stay here again!
