「The hotel is clean rooms as well. Staff is excellent. Pleasant and helpful. The ac unit needs to be cleaned or the filter changed as when on the room fills with musty air. Also the outside garbages was not cleaned up during our 3 day stay.」

「A really great hotel with clean, spacious rooms in an authentic style. The rooms have a fridge and a coffee machine, and everything is very clean and well maintained. There’s free parking and a cozy little restaurant with tasty food on the first floor. There isn’t a traditional reception desk, but checking in is incredibly easy. You get all the instructions online and a door code, so everything is simple and convenient. The hosts respond very quickly, are friendly, and are always happy to help....

「It took 3/4 hour to check in, as I had used Expedia and they saved the reservation under my email, and not my name. The front desk was busy trying to get me to pay for the night and request a refund through Expedia. The room was nice, missing the threshold in front of the door, and the shower was a little grimmy, but liveable. The major problem was a large fan (somewhere in the building sounding like a hand dryer) revving to full speed for a minute, then switch off and start again, all through...

「We only stayed for two nights, but during our day, we absolutely loved our accommodations and wished we had been able to enjoy the beautiful outdoor patio but it was closed on the day we would have enjoyed it! We would definitely recommend this beautiful place to stay :)」

「Le meilleur de cet hôtel est l'emplacement idéal centre-ville,,,face au front de mer, des bateaux pour excursions d'observation de baleines, près du lighthouse, sur la rue Water avec boutiques, magasins et épicerie...et stationnement gratuit Par contre, le lit de notre chambre n'était pas très confortable et les oreillers très grosses...」

「The staff is extremely helpful, pleasant and polite. The inn and its grounds are immaculately maintained. The breakfast served at the time of your choosing was delicious and what a treat to savor it on the private patio with the birds singing and the lovely manicured grounds to enjoy. The inn is next door to the Kingsbrae Gardens and there is a gate to enter just to the right of the front door. I enjoyed the well appointed room, the whirlpool tub and the beautiful library and living room areas....

「We chose St. Andrews to rest on our way to Prince Edward Island. St. Andrews itself was a great discovery! We enjoyed our full day here… Could’ve been two days or more. Managers at the Montague Rose were very helpful in orienting us as to what to do. Charming B&B!!!」

「The view and area is absolutely gorgeous. It’s nice that you have a balcony right onto the water. Place need some TLC, it is very much older style, which is fine because it’s very clean. Wasn’t very excited that our room had a kitchen sink in the bathroom, along with the bathroom sink. Needless to say, I was not using that kitchenette. But as far as I know, the other rooms were not like that. Great place to say stay」
