Welcome to Peaceful Waters Retreat, located 1 hour from Austin and 2 hours from Houston. We are Texas' only earthblock retreat center, on 53 acres with private lake & pond.
Perfect for large families and retreats, this property is amenity-packed and surrounded by nature for a truly memorable gathering. Amenities include pools, hot tubs, sauna, steam room, gym, game room, and more!

PRIVACY & POLICIES
- You will have private access to all 53 acres of Peaceful Waters Retreat
- Staff will be onsite for farm/ranch tasks, but your privacy will be respected
- Quiet hours: 10PM to 8AM.
- Check in is 4PM, and check out is 11AM. If our calendar permits, we can accommodate early check in or late check out for a fee.
- We treat and maintain buildings to reduce bugs, but this is the countryside – no refunds for pests.
- No events or parties without pre-approval.
- Events (such as a wedding, party, or any gathering with daytime guests not staying overnight) require a $500 “event” fee, and you’ll need to obtain event liability insurance (typically $150–$300).
- Rental agreement required (you’ll receive a link after booking)
- $1000 refundable security deposit.
Please remember to communicate these “Ranch Rules” to your guests:
- Hot tub: Cover & buckle after use (or it gets gross)
- Doors & A/C: Keep doors closed when running A/C to avoid breaking it
- Pool: No glass in pool area
- No driving on the grass, it can damage irrigation & septic
- Garbage bags go in bins! (or critters get into them)
- Respect the property: Please treat the place like it’s your own
