Welcome to Blue Sea Villa, we hope to host you for your visit to San Diego! Please read through our detailed description below to learn more about the property and booking terms.
This charming oceanfront vintage villa is a beach lover`s dream! Located in the highly sought after La Jolla shores...come enjoy Sand, Surf, and stunning Sunsets… bring the whole family for a perfect beach vacation in this coveted community! This 2,000 Sq foot home has two patios with fire pits, jacuzzi, and plenty of outdoor seating to watch the waves all day! Blue Sea Villa comfortably accommodates up to 12 adults in beds, with additional sleeping space available for 2 children in cot.
OUTDOOR HAVEN
Take a dip in the spa or the ocean- this vacation rental is perfect for those who can’t get enough of the water.
A private courtyard brings peace to the home with beautiful night-time ambiance from the string lights. The fire pit adds warmth to the space at night. There is a dining table that seats 10 with two extra chairs available. Heat up the grill for an at home BBQ. All of this while still getting peek-a-boo views of the ocean!
The beach is your back yard and there is so much space to play! The luxury spa comes with 3 jet settings and high heat settings. The multi level yard provides options on where to lounge around; whether it`s the turf, patio, or sand! The lower level with sand is like your own private beach! This home comes with a private fire pit which is rare to find around here because they`re no longer allowed on the beach. Toast some marshmallows for s`mores and watch the surf!
Use caution when accessing the beach via the staircase from the lower yard. Changing tides affect the levels of sand on the beach and, at times, will create a large drop from the last step to the sand. The alternate access point is La Jolla Shores beach park, a 2 minute walk south from the house.

EXTRA LUXURIES
Enjoy the use of a stand up paddle board, surf board, boogie boards, beach chairs, beach games, and lots of beach towels.
All bedrooms have Samsung Smart TV`s with streaming services.
Parking for 3 cars on property. Two in the garage and one in the driveway. Parking not permitted on the gravel. There is one Tesla EV Charger installed in the garage.

Pets: Please note that cats are not permitted in our homes. We kindly request that guests limit their furry friend guests to one dog. Host must be notified of pets. Pet agreement must be acknowledged prior to booking confirmation and additional fees may apply.

BOOKING TERMS
Per the cancellation policy, eligible cancellations may receive a full refund less credit card processing fees. These non-refundable fees are charged by the payment processor at the time of booking and typically range from 3.9% to 4.7% of the total transaction amount. There is no grace period for Credit Card fees. Once booked credit card fees apply and can not be refunded.

Good Neighbor Policy: This home is surrounded by OWNER OCCUPIED homes. While we understand the Primary Renter and guests are on vacation, the home owners are not. Therefore, we respectfully request Primary Renter and Guests display behavior that is becoming of a typical neighborhood environment. Home owners across San Diego are banning together to eliminate the rentals of private homes as vacation homes. Please help us preserve our right to rent by being respectful neighbors.
NOISE/NO PARTIES: Quiet hours are strictly enforced, 10 pm – 8 am per city ordinance. This property has ZERO TOLERANCE for noise, parties or loud music which includes any excessive daytime noise, cursing, yelling or screaming. Fines will be applied for complaints. Drinking games of any kind ie: beer die, pong, funnels etc. and music that is audible past the property line are strictly prohibited. Immediate eviction can result if these rules are broken.
San Diego Municipal Code 59.5.0502 states that at all times; any amplified sound that can be heard 50 feet away from the rented residence is prohibited. Between 10 PM and 8 AM, even normal conversation must be moved inside the rented residence. Per SDMC 51.1004 and California Penal Code 415.2 noise violations can result in fines (Up to $1,000) for property owners and Renters if there are repeated calls for noise violations to one address. Renters will be liable for any and ALL noise violation fines charged to the property owner. Excessive Noise disruptions can result in immediate eviction without the right to a refund of rental fees or security deposits.
Drugs/ Alcohol: Use of illegal/illicit drugs by any Renter, Guest, Occupant or Visitor in or on the grounds is strictly prohibited. Consumption of alcoholic beverages by a minor under 21 years of age is strictly prohibited.
No Smoking of ANY kind: This is a non-smoking property, both in and on the property. A fee of $1,000.00 will be charged for violation of this rule, plus any costs incurred to remove smoke odor or damage. Smoking includes but is not limited to: cigarette, cigar, marajuana, cocaine, incense, or vaping. While Marajuana is legal in the state of California it is NOT allowed on this property.
Properties are subject to exterior patrol by our staff and homeowner. If Renters are causing a nuisance, having a party, acting detrimentally toward the property, breaking the noise curfew or any stated rules and regulations we reserve the right to terminate the rental agreement, without refund, and immediately remove Renters and guests from the property. Absolutely no disturbances are allowed within this home or anywhere on the property premises. We also reserve the right to refuse occupancy if a house party is suspected.
Our neighbors are very, very sensitive to vacation rentals as it affects their right to live in a peaceful environment therefore we will enforce these policies in exchange for the privilege of renting this home as a vacation rental. The City of San Diego has adopted stricter guidelines for vacation properties and bad operators will not be allowed to rent their homes. If the actions of the Renter and their guests are detrimental to our right to rent as a vacation rental we reserve the right to evict and retain any rental fees and/or security deposits and will report abuse to the rental platforms and will take legal action against Renter if their behavior results in loss of permits.
Guest Occupancy:
Occupancy: The maximum occupancy for this Rental Agreement shall not exceed the number stated on the reservation. Only primary Renter and guests accounted for on the reservation are allowed to be on the property.
Age Restrictions: Primary Renter must be 25 years or older. Guests must be 25 years or older. Parents and children excluded.
No Subletting: If Renter can not keep the reservation please alert us as soon as possible so we can assist in re-renting the unit. If the unit is not re-rented and at the rate of the current reservation Renter will not be refunded their rental fees.
If excessive cleaning is needed, Renter will be charged $100/hour, or actual charges, whichever is greater. If area carpets are excessively dirty after check out Renter will be charged a $300 fee for carpet cleaning or full replacement value PLUS any loss in rental income at $500/night.
NO DAILY MAID SERVICE: Daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. The cleaning fee referenced above shall be applied to the cleaning service after check out. If daily maid service is desired it can be arranged for an additional daily fee.
Missing or damaged items will be charged at full replacement cost. Guest is responsible for all damages.
Kitchen: Cooking at high temperatures can result in strong smells that permeates throughout the home and into the fabrics of the home. Excessive odors can come from, but not limited to, popcorn, fish, certain spices etc.
