Location, peaceful but nearby amenities. property was in excellent condition - outside areas were particularly lovely. Hardly anything. Kitchen was equipped well but did not have some basic things like a chopping board and tongs for the BBQ. We had to buy them.

Our recent stay at Goldeneye was brilliant. The villa is absolutely stunning and offers plentiful accommodation and facilities throughout. The pool area was immaculately clean and offers ample sun loungers and of course the hammock. The villa is in a very quiet location with Benagil beach around a 20 minute walk away. The walk is fairly flat until you reach the hill leading down, which is quite steep. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would recommend the villa to large parties. The villa is showing some signs of wear and tear including marks to the paintwork in the lounge and the blind in the stairwell is broken and unable to be opened.

Very good house

Had a lovely family holiday at Villa Goldeneye. The Bond memorabilia and theme is novel and good for Bond fans. very clean Villa, well appointed, plenty of room and comfortable. Katherine was really helpful, responsive and friendly. Only comment I would make is that if the weather forces you inside (as it did with us in October) there isn't a lot of seating for 12. Villa seems very geared to "outdoor living". Other than that a very nice clean modern Villa.

Villa Goldeneye is a wonderful place to be. Ideally located (20 minutes' walk from the best beach in the Algarve), it offers a magnificent view of the sea, while being preserved from the neighborhood. The villa combines generous common areas with more unspoiled spaces to isolate yourself (terraces upstairsbelow, small living room, barbecue area, etc.) The bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable, as are the bathrooms, the large bright living room overlooks a covered terrace and a beautiful infinity pool in which the children have spent long hours. Everything works perfectly. Unforgettable experience. Nothing to say!

Amazing stay at Golden Eye

We had a wonderful stay for a week at Golden Eye. The property was as described and did not disappoint. The pool and outdoor living space was amazing and everything in the house was well appointed. The property and grounds were very well maintained. The management team was extremely responsive and addressed a small issue very quickly. Booking and asking questions about the property was seamless. Our opinon was that Golden Eye was in the perfect Algarve location. Accessible to Lagos and Albuferia, but we really enjoyed Carvoeiro. A quick Bolt/taxi ride to town for nightly entertainment and the restaurants, beach were great. Also so close to the access points of Seven Valleys made for great hikes. Easy walk to O’Rustico for dinner which was a nice meal. We had a private chef come in one night (recommended by the management co) and he prepared the most incredible birthday dinner for our group. Highly recommend private chef Filipe Silva. He’s on IG. Overall it was a wonderful time and we would not hesitate to recommend staying at Golden Eye.

Lovely holiday for all the family

The villa was lovely and spacious. Any problems we encountered were dealt with quickly by Elite rentals. Would strongly recommend Elite to our friends and would hope to use Elite again. I think the villa would benefit from an extra fob for the main gate. If 2 cars want to go in separate directions - it is possible but a bit of a hassle - 2 fobs would make it easy

Tolles Objekt mit ein paar Schönheitsfehlern

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in der Villa sehr genossen. Trotz einer nicht erfolgten Übergabe vor Ort, haben wir uns sehr schnell eingelebt. Diverse Mängel sind dennoch aufzuführen. Zum Teil sind die WC Deckel nicht mehr befestigt. Im großen Kühlschrank sind die Schubfächer zum Teil defekt. Eine Kaffeemaschine haben wir für 30 in Carvoeiro gekauft, da in der großen Küche keine vorhanden war. Lediglich die kleine Maschine aus der Suite stand uns zur Verfügung. Für 12 Personen ist diese allerdings nicht ausreichend. Jetzt zum positiven Teil, die Villa verfügt über sehr bequeme Betten. Es ist dort angenehm ruhig, der Außenbereich ist für eine große Gruppe ausgelegt. Der Pool hat eine sehr gute Größe und bietet genügend Abkühlung.

Very well designed & spacious property but the trip was let down by the rental company

Rental company fell way short in terms having the villa ready for us: Cobwebs above outside seating area – it was quite evident that the area hasn`t been cleaned in quite a while Lights above outside seating only partially working Dirt & cobwebs under outside seating tables & chairs No bin liners – a minor point but surprising for such a high end rental No instructions for electric pool cover which was over the pool on arrival Control for pool cover broken and not fixed during the stay No instructions to link to the Sonos system Noisy builders work 100m away (despite being told there wasn`t any) No instructions for domestic appliances Welcome pack ridiculous prices Worn out kitchen stool covers Pool glazing panels dirty Pool umbrellas broken Considering most visitors are from the UK the TV channels are limited to Sky News only (we realise this may be an owner issue but we still think it needs sorting) Main bedroom on the 1st floor doesn`t have a remote for the TV The 2 cleaners arrived on the Wednesday (ie: mid week) but stayed for 10 minutes, literally. They changed the towels, put disinfectant in the wc`s and then left (the guest book suggests leaving the cleaners a tip – what, for 10 minutes work!?) No clean bedding fitted during the week The bathroom drains were very slow to clear and it`s pretty obvious they need cleaning through The dishwasher leaves scum and food debris on the pots and thereby needs servicing

Birthday stay at Goldeneye

The house was extremely spacious, well appointed, easy to operate and wonderfully clean. Enjoyed the pool, the high end grill, the Sonos sound system and the heated bathroom floors. Just surprised that the kitchen counter stools needed new upholstery. The deteriorating fabric made the only visible dirt in the house while we were there. A small improvement would have put us over the moon.

Fantastic villa in a great location

This really is a great villa. We were a part of 6 adults 5 kids (between 10-3). The set up was perfect and realistically we could have had a few more. The heated pool is perfect, the beds high quality and comfortable, the grounds very private, great location near to Benagil and Marinha beaches, with two very nice restaurants a 2 minute walk away. Could go on and on about how good a place this is. We had seen the odd negative issue highlighted on previous reviews and other sites, I contacted the agents (Elite) beforehand and they gave very honest and clear answers about some of the previous issues and as to how they had been addressed. I need not have worried and everything was perfect. The agents were excellent too, I foolishly managed to lock us out with keys inside - the agent sorted in no time with minimal fuss. Great stay, we'll be booking up again.

Hochwertig eingerichtetes Haus…!

Wir waren jetzt das zweite Mal in diesem Haus und nicht das letzte Mal. Für große Gruppen sehr gut geeignet, sowohl innen, als auch außen genug Platz für alle. Auch wenn die offene Küche ein wenig klein geraten ist, schmälert es nicht den Gesamteindruck des Haus.

Spectacular Villa!

This is a great villa! Large well-furbished rooms and a perfect sized pool. Good service from VRBO. Only drawbacks were that we had to call ourselves to the cleaner to show up and she did not do a great job..... And on the first night the ble**** alarm went off 6-7 times.... :-(
