Federico was the perfect host. The accommodations was very nice and clean and spa like.The surrounding area was amazing. Breakfast and dinner was available and was very good. Staff were nice and very helpful. Close to Tarcoles Bridge and Carrara National Park. Great opportunity to see birds and monkeys.I would highly recommend. Also the host went above and beyond to assist. I would definitely go back.

Enjoy a beautiful sunset in this local gem

This is a place to spend a few nights on your way to further South of Costa Rica as we did. The location is stunning up on a hill overlooking the Pacific and enjoying a majestic sunset. The owner and staff very friendly and approachable, and the food home cooked, local and delicious. I believe this place is fairly new, and is evolving but has a great potential to become very special. We loved our room, and yes the construction especially of doors and windows could be better but this is a problem in many places in Costa Rica anyway

Wonderful birding site

The birding on the property was great, especially walking the road away from the highway (Scarlet Macaws and Howler Monkeys when we arrived!). The tower provided wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. Abram was a great host who prepared delicious meals for breakfast and dinner. I found the mattresses to be a bit too firm, but our kids slept like rocks. There were a couple of minor maintenance issues, like a bathroom door that didn't fully close. But all in all I would stay there again happily!
