「Eden Atenas seemed a bit in the middle of nowhere, when we arrived in the dark - and it was very dark. But when we woke up the morning we were surrounded by the most beautiful jungle gardens, a gorgeous pool, such a kind caretaker who made a gorgeous simple breakfast where we watched hummingbirds. Eden. Just like it says. There isn't anywhere exciting to go outside the compound but inside it's a magical retreat. Someone should write a great novel there.」

The commute through the resort involves quite a few hills, which at times felt like a workout, but I like to think of it as built-in cardio—almost like hiking.
