Paradise

Honua Kai is absolutely fantastic! Beautiful property and close beach access makes it perfect! We have stayed here before and will definitely be back! Condo association was easy to deal with as well. I can’t say enough good things! Our family vacation was amazing!

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay. We actually rented both condos and had room for 3 families. The location was perfect and the complex was great for us. The only small complaint I have is that there were roaches. So I would suggest bringing zip lock bags to store any food you may have.

Spring break in Maui

We had a great experience. The rental company did great. My only comments are more related to the property. The parking was pretty sparse. But it was spring break. And it would be amazing if there were any stores or a restaurant on-property that serves food after 9pm. The restaurant and stores close pretty early. The early checkout is a bit tough so consider that when planning your activities. But the units we had were great and had beautiful views! It’s a great place to stay!

Excellence at Honua Kai

EVERYTHING about our stay at Honua Kai/ Konea Tower was perfect! The 2 condos that we rented were next door to each other, very nice, very clean, & had just about everything we needed, including beach chairs & a cooler. Perfect for our large family of parents, adult children, & grandchildren. The parking garage with easy access was also a bonus! Communication with the management company was a breeze! Everyone that I emailed, or spoke to on the phone was professional & very pleasant. We had a couple of requests - 2 Pack n Plays, which were delivered before we arrived, & 2 futons ( for 2 teenagers that didn’t want to share beds), which were delivered within an hour! When the electronic lock on the front door stopped working, the management company sent a repairman over immediately. The lock could not be fixed, so it was replaced with a new electronic lock first thing the next morning. The management company, Maui Resort Rentals, was very quick to respond! We also really enjoyed the location of the resort. Whaler’s Village & Lahaina were not too far away, there was a lot with a variety of food trucks next to the resort, & a market across the street. The small convenience store located near the lobby area of the resort, had a large selection of fresh food, packaged food, as well as souvenirs. We also enjoyed Duke’s Restaurant, located on the property. It was a wonderful vacation for me & my family & we hope to stay there again someday!

Family vacation

Renting through VRBO is always an excellent experience. What was a bit confusing is that a local management company took care of the specifics and it’s with them that we had a few challenges.
