"The lodge was very nice, very clean and a great location. Check in was super easy and we had no issues with that piece. Our only negatives are I had a difficult time sleeping because the mattress was extremely firm. My wife thought there could be a couple wall hangings to make the room have a warmer feel. Overall an outstanding stay."

"We just returned from an amazing stay at this 2-bedroom condo, and it exceeded every expectation! The location is unbeatable — truly just 7 minutes to Schuss Mountain for incredible skiing (or summer golf), right in the heart of Shanty Creek Resort, and only a quick drive to Short's Brewery in Bellaire for beers and pub grub. We loved how central it was to all the best activities in Northern Michigan.The condo itself is super cozy and well-equipped. The fireplace was the highlight — nothing beats curling up by the fire after a day on the slopes or out exploring. The living space felt warm and inviting, the kitchen was fully stocked for easy meals, and both bedrooms were comfortable with plenty of space for our group.Everything was clean, thoughtfully set up, and the resort amenities (pools, hot tubs, shuttles) made it feel like a true vacation upgrade. Whether you're here for winter sports, golfing, hiking, or just relaxing with a beer from Short's, this spot is ideal.We can't wait to come back — highly recommend to anyone looking for the perfect mix of adventure and comfort. 5 stars all the way! "Very nice home, clean and well stocked, which we appreciated! The house was cold in the lower level and very uncomfortable for the kids. The upstairs bedroom was hot and the rest was cold . Another words, very inconsistent. We wished the fire places worked. The house is conveniently located to all the amenities. We would stay again! Thank you "
